What You Will Do
- Assist in the characterization and analysis of high-speed connectors and systems using digital testing and electromagnetic modeling techniques
- Develop and document electrical test procedures and specifications
- Collaborate with senior engineers in designing characterization and verification boards
- Participate in empirical and analytical testing to meet design requirements
- Prepare evaluation and qualification reports for internal review
- Learn and provide signal integrity insights to the team

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Physics with a minimum of two years of related work experience OR Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or Physics
- Strong willingness and eagerness to learn signal integrity concepts and techniques
- Basic understanding of Electromagnetics/RF principles
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, TDRs, and VNAs is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven candidate qualified for the position of Signal Integrity Engineer to help design and build market leading Hardware Platform Solutions.
The Signal Integrity Engineer will play a critical role as the subject matter expert in the planning of digital PCB designs, simulation, lab verification, and troubleshooting signal integrity issues on completed designs. They will also be expected to help with design review of critical PCBs for signal integrity concerns. - Experience on complex PCBAs (36+ layers)
- PCB design fundamentals (single ended and differential signals), Signal loss, Impedance control, and Crosstalk (near end and far end)

- Experienced working with component models (touchstone files) and cascading models to generate complete system models for simulation
