This position is responsible to deliver simulation solutions to our pipeline customers in the Oil & Gas industry. - Design, configuration, and implementation of pipeline simulation solutions using AVEVA's Pipeline Integrity Monitor modeling application.
- Development of project documentation including the Functional Design Specification, Acceptance Test Procedures, and custom user documentation.
- Participate as a member of a larger team in project implementation and delivery to customers.
- Work directly with customers to understand customer's needs and requirements.
- Travel to client sites will be required (approximately 25%).
**Essential requirements**
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Process or Petroleum Engineering.
- Experience in software application deployment, development or service, preferably in the Oil or Gas Pipeline Simulation industry.
- 1-3 years general experience in Oil and Gas pipeline transportation or related industry.

Job Summary
As a Simulation Engineer at Design Systems, Inc., you will be responsible for developing, verifying, and validating simulation models to evaluate manufacturing systems, material flow, transportation strategies, and production line efficiency. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented problem solver with experience in discrete event simulation and a solid understanding of automotive or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, verify, and validate simulation models using dynamic simulation tools (preferably Siemens Plant Simulation)
Model and analyze production lines, material handling systems, and transportation networks
Conduct simulation studies to evaluate:
Throughput, bottlenecks, and downtime
Delivery routes and operator efficiency
Vehicle, pallet, and carrier resource utilization
Storage capacity and sensitivity analysis
Create and maintain simulation asset libraries (AGVs, conveyors, cranes, ASRS, etc.)
Develop and present simulation results and recommendations via reports and presentations
Support cross-functional teams during project planning and execution phases
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to align simulation outcomes with project goals

Qualifications & Skills
Required:
Minimum of 3+ years' experience in simulation model development (preferably with Plant Simulation from Siemens)
Solid understanding of discrete event simulation and material flow modeling
Experience with manufacturing engineering and production systems
Familiarity with various material handling and transportation systems (AGVs, fork trucks, tuggers, conveyors, etc.)
Programming experience (Plant Simulation SimTalk preferred)
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); VBA experience a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel as required

The **Boeing Space & Launch team** is seeking a **Modeling and Simulation Engineer** for development projects in **El Segundo, CA** . The Space and Launch Team creates the next generation products and services for the BDS business unit. We work with proprietary customers in the development of the next-generation technologies in space. This position focuses on system analysis involving production of models and simulations to support business needs, as well as the design of constellations to support proprietary missions.
Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments. You will participate in all phases of the system development life cycle, including concept of operations (ConOps) development, requirements development, analysis and decomposition, software and hardware system design, algorithm design, risk management, integration, test and operations.
The selected candidate will function as a Modeling and Simulation Engineer either assigned as a technical leader in business development or on an active program. This job is a broad customer-oriented position that entails building, executing, and/or presenting system level analysis for space-based systems. The work is often requirements focused and is critical at all stages of program development and execution (i.e. from new business until operations support). Analysis may be general and scheduled (e.g. subsystem or system of systems trade evaluation using existing tools and processes to support design reviews or other program milestones) or it may be to support special needs of individual programs requiring problem definition, problem solving, and (critically) coordination within the system engineering team to establish and justify the best process to model and analyze the situation.

Job Purpose
This is an entry level position to support the team to perform Offline Programming (OLP) utilizing simulation
software and robotics knowledge to reduce new model introduction time. They will be responsible to support the
team to minimize the negative impact to current model production while reducing online robot programming time
for new model activity. The primary tools this position uses are robotic simulation, cycle time estimations and
validating tooling design in the 3D CAD/CAE environment.

- Execute new model offline simulation for individual process and

Minimum Educational

Support a government contract project by designing and testing advanced wireless communication simulations focused on dynamic 5G spectrum sharing.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Design and simulate advanced 5G wireless communication systems using MATLAB and NVIDIA Sionna
- Develop and enhance system-level 5G simulators
- Conduct simulation-based performance analysis and system-level test cases
- Evaluate cell planning and channel modeling with tools like ATOLL, Remcom Wireless InSite
- Create algorithms for scheduling, interference mitigation, and handovers
- Participate in design reviews and document test results

CRASH SIMULATION ENGINEER (NHTSA):
Bowhead is seeking a Crash Simulation Engineer to support the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration contract headquartered in Washington D.C. The position will be fully remote. The crash simulation engineer is responsible for the development, evaluation and/or application of finite element and/or lumped parameter models in vehicle crash safety & human injury research. This position requires knowledge of vehicle design, crash safety countermeasures, laboratory measurement techniques, vehicle sled modeling and analysis, and test/evaluation devices such as crash test dummies and human body models. Individuals will be required to provide significant technical leadership and contribute to the technical direction of projects.
**Responsibilities**
+ Plan, design, coordinate and control the progress of project work to meet client objectives
+ Lead technical efforts and keep up to date with current industry best practices
+ Create sled FE models, position various crash test dummies and human FE models, carry out vehicle impacts and perform injury analysis
+ Perform post simulation data analysis such as injury analysis per FMVSS/NCAP regulations and statistical techniques
+ Provide recommendations to client regarding planning, analysis and reporting efforts
+ Develop technical reports and presentations to communicate complex research in a clear and comprehensive manner
**Qualifications**
+ MS in engineering (mechanical engineering preferred)
+ Technical areas of expertise include engineering dynamics, materials engineering, mechanical engineering, biomechanical engineering and/or structural engineering
+ Experience in the evaluation of laboratory test results from impact testing including vehicles, vehicle components, anthropomorphic dummies, and/or post mortem human subjects
+ Experience with running vehicle crash simulations using LS-DYNA (2+ years of experience)
+ Demonstrated experience in performing post-crash simulation injury analysis such as HIC, BrIC, Nij, femur/tibia forces etc.
+ Experience with Design of Experiments, optimization, and statistical analysis
+ Knowledge of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS)
+ Demonstrated experience with optimization programs such as LS-OPT and 3D modeling programs such as ANSA, META, Oasys Primer etc.
+ Familiarity with crash investigation reports and crash reconstruction methods
+ Good written and verbal communication skills as evidenced by technical publications / conference presentations
+ Demonstrated experience in laboratory measurement techniques and knowledge of the laws of physics, continuum mechanics, and statistical data treatments
+ Preferred Qualifications:
+ Python Programming
+ Car crash modeling and simulation
+ Crash data analysis and accident reconstruction
+ Understanding of biomechanical structures (human body response and tolerance)
+ LS-OPT experience, Design of Experiments (DOE), optimization
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically
