**Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift**
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Engineer where you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of industrial production machinery. This role involves performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on various automated machines including non-performing machines, waterjets, conveyors, and stamping cells.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct preventive maintenance and respond to down machine calls efficiently.
+ Perform electrical or hydraulic repairs on machinery components as required.
+ Repair and rebuild hydraulic pumps, cylinders/rams, and lines.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues independently.
+ Work extended shifts and weekends when necessary to ensure operational efficiency.
Essential Skills
+ At least 4 years of recent experience in machine repair.

Works as a mechanical skilled trades person supporting the repair and maintenance of the production equipment.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities:**
+ Operates Mobile CMMS Device for Reactive Calls and Preventive Maintenance assignments.
+ Must use safety awareness in accordance with MIOSHA standard Lockout Tagout, Confined Space, and Hot Work Permits.
+ Assists in maintaining the mechanics on machining and grinding centers, heat-treat furnaces, and assembly lines.
+ General Pipe Fitting Skills- Assembly, replacements
+ Assists in maintaining the operation of conveyors, automation, robotics, and mechanical systems.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Maintenance Technician works with all elements involved in maintaining the facility and equipment. This involves overseeing the health of all CNC machines and participating in TPM events. Summary of Position:

MMC is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of tasks while taking pride in their work. Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and optimal performance of our equipment, machinery, and facilities. Your expertise in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance will contribute to the smooth operations of our production processes and overall facility maintenance. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong mechanical aptitude.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Completes minor and routine painting, plumbing, and carpentry and other related maintenance activities using hand tools.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to identify the root cause and implement effective repairs.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot the problem, and take appropriate action to restore functionality in a timely manner.
• Maintains tools and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk and pathways as needed.
• Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.
• Notifies management concerning the need for major repairs when needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Participate in comprehensive training programs to stay current with industry standards and new technologies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional technical certifications or trade school education preferred for a Senior Technician.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality and accuracy.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladder and work in confined spaces.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and other departments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, and overtime as necessary.

Opening available on afternoon and midnight shift. + Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects
+ Work daily/weekend overtime as scheduled
**Skills:**

+ Welding, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Pumps, Gearboxes, Boilers, etc.
+ Journeyman, Bachelor of Science, Associates, or Certificate in an Engineering field preferred
