Our client is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Apprenticeship Program Coordinator to manage and grow their skilled trades apprenticeship initiatives. This role is essential for connecting aspiring tradespeople with valuable training opportunities and ensuring the successful development of our apprentices. You will be responsible for all aspects of program administration, from recruitment and onboarding to tracking progress and coordinating with training providers and employers. The ideal candidate has a passion for education and workforce development, excellent communication skills, and a knack for building relationships within the trades community. Key responsibilities include recruiting and screening potential apprentices, coordinating the application and selection process, onboarding new apprentices, scheduling and managing training sessions, maintaining accurate records of apprentice progress and performance, liaising with trade unions, vocational schools, and industry partners, and providing support and guidance to apprentices throughout their program duration. You will also assist in developing program materials and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards. A High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus. At least 2 years of experience in program coordination, student services, HR, or workforce development is necessary. Experience within the skilled trades sector or familiarity with apprenticeship programs is highly advantageous. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal abilities are crucial for success.
