Our client is a leading industry association committed to developing the next generation of skilled trades professionals. They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Apprenticeship Program Manager to oversee the recruitment, training, and success of apprentices. This role is critical in building a robust pipeline of talent for partner companies, ensuring high-quality training experiences, and fostering apprentice career development. This is an on-site position requiring active engagement with apprentices, training facilities, and employer partners.

- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive apprenticeship programs in various skilled trades.
- Recruit and screen qualified candidates for apprenticeship opportunities, conducting interviews and assessments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employer partners to understand their workforce needs and facilitate apprentice placements.
- Coordinate and oversee the training curriculum, ensuring it meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Schedule and track apprentice progress, including on-the-job training hours and classroom instruction.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to apprentices throughout their program duration.
- Organize and facilitate career development workshops and networking events for apprentices.
- Collaborate with educational institutions and training providers to ensure program quality and relevance.
- Manage program budgets, including tracking expenses and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to apprenticeship programs.
- Conduct site visits to apprentice worksites to monitor progress and address any issues.
- This role requires full-time presence at our facility in Raleigh, North Carolina, US , to effectively manage the program and engage directly with apprentices and partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, workforce development, apprenticeship programs, or vocational training.
- Demonstrated knowledge of skilled trades and their associated training requirements.
- Experience in recruitment, candidate screening, and selection processes.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with apprentices, employers, and educators.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to develop and manage program budgets.
- Familiarity with apprenticeship regulations and best practices.
- Passion for workforce development and supporting career pathways for individuals.
- Experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving is beneficial.
