Job Description
Our client is seeking a dedicated and organized Apprenticeship Program Coordinator to manage and grow their skilled trades apprenticeship initiatives in Miami, Florida, US . This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can bridge the gap between educational institutions, industry partners, and aspiring apprentices. You will be responsible for the overall administration, recruitment, and support of apprenticeship programs, ensuring a high-quality experience for all participants and meeting the workforce needs of various industries.

- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive apprenticeship programs within various skilled trades.
- Recruit and screen potential apprentices, conducting interviews and assessing suitability for specific trades.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trade unions, industry employers, and educational institutions.
- Coordinate the curriculum and training schedules for apprentices, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
- Track apprentice progress, provide mentorship and support, and address any challenges they may encounter.
- Organize and facilitate regular meetings with program stakeholders, including employers and instructors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to apprenticeships.
- Manage program budgets, including tracking expenses and processing payments.
- Develop and disseminate program marketing materials to attract potential apprentices and employers.
- Organize and host informational sessions and recruitment events.
- Maintain accurate program records and generate regular reports on program performance and outcomes.
- Stay informed about industry trends and workforce development initiatives in skilled trades.
- Act as a liaison between apprentices and employers to facilitate smooth integration into the workforce.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in program coordination, workforce development, or human resources, preferably within skilled trades or vocational training.
- Demonstrated understanding of apprenticeship models and skilled trades industries.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management or CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Experience with recruitment, interviewing, and candidate assessment.
- Knowledge of relevant labor laws and apprenticeship regulations is a plus.
- Passion for workforce development and supporting career pathways in skilled trades.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly desirable.
