Project Description: Seeking a reliable and experienced construction worker to assist with a residential and commercial projects. This is an in-house position. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic who can perform a variety of tasks. Back ground checks will be performed on civil and vehicle records.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and clean up the job site daily.
Assist with the installation of (e.g., framing, drywall, flooring, trim).
Help with site organization and safety, ensuring all protocols are followed.
Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Requirements:
Proven experience in residential construction.

A day in the life of a Construction Worker:
At Samaritan's Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff, and volunteers who serve around the globe.
In the role of a Construction Worker, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
- Work jointly with the Project Superintendent, Construction Foremen, and Logistics Coordinators to construct and/or repair homes in the affected area
- Work with and lead volunteers
- Work with other construction workers and hired subcontractors when needed
- Ensure the quality of each project is maintained to the highest possible standard
- Provide safety training and general project training for team members at the job site and ensure all work is done according to safety standards
- Maintain security of all materials and equipment at job sites
- Ensure quality and adherence to Samaritans Purse policies from hired subcontractors
- Inspect all jobs, ensuring work is performed per federal, state, and local laws and codes
- Communicate and minister to homeowners and partners, keeping them informed of the team's work and projected needs
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience :
- One-year certificate from college or technical school and six (6) months to one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain a drivers medical card (required)
- Trade certifications (electrical, plumbing, roofing, framing, and finish carpentry) (preferred)
- Class A Commercial Drivers License (preferred)
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of residential home construction, from layout and foundation work to final inspection
Type: Full-Time
Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required)
Pay Range: $27 - $33/hr
