Ultimate LLC is immediately hiring Construction Workers for civil highway projects in the Hampstead, MD area. The pay range is up to $20 per hour based on experience. All construction workers are scheduled 40+ hours a week. We are looking for skilled craftsmen to add to our team of dedicated, safe, productive, and proven craftsmen. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all employees with no week in the hole and optional direct deposit.
Ultimate Job Duties
- Assist with installation of new guardrail systems
- Assist with repair of old guardrail systems
- Use hand and electric tools to cut, fabricate, and install guardrail components
- On project training provided
- ATTSA Flagger Certification (Not required but preferred)
- Occasional Flagger duties
- Occasionally operate company vehicles
- Heavy lifting required
Ultimate Construction Worker
- 1+ years of construction experience
- Appropriate PPE (Hard hat, vest, steel toe boots, metatarsal cover)
- Must have basic hand tools to perform trade
- Ability to perform regular standing, bending and kneeling and lifting of up to 80 lbs without assistance
- Drug Test Required
- Background Check Required
- Clean driving record
- ATTSA Flagger Cert (Not Required but Preferred)

Key Responsibilities-
Place, level, and finish concrete for sidewalks, floors, roads and curbs

Repair spalled or cracked concrete using industry-approved methods

Read blueprints and specs to determine materials, dimensions and layout

Safely operate mixers, power trowels, screeds and related equipment

Keep work areas clean; maintain tools and report any safety concerns
Prep job sites by grading and smoothing surfaces with hand and power tools

We are seeking a dedicated site laborer who will start on projects such as a new-build multi-family complex in Coralville and a hotel in Cedar Rapids. The successful candidate will serve as both a liaison and laborer on-site, assisting the Project Manager to ensure tasks are completed correctly and the site is well-maintained.
Responsibilities- Operate Skid Loader to fix ruts on site and fill them with gravel.
- Utilize Telehandler to deliver materials to different areas of the site.
- Communicate with subcontractors about incoming materials and tasks needing completion on-site.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site.
- Move and stage equipment and materials.
- Perform sweeping and build temporary walls, windows, doors, and fencing.
- Repair framing, drywall, and miscellaneous items upon project completion.
- Experience in construction and site clean-up
- Able to read a tape measurer
- Valid DL
- Proficiency in operating hand and power tools
The role involves working at new construction sites, building from the ground up, with large projects involving multiple trades. Safety is prioritized as projects are highly visible. Work independently with minimal supervision, alongside a smaller team of around 4-5 people. Dress code includes work boots, jeans, and a shirt without holes. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, with potential summer overtime.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
