**Position Overview**
Professional business-to-business (B2B) sales position responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned territory. Generates and secures new sales in a professional environment by calling on and prospecting with property management firms, as well as large corporations and sports related facilities. This role typically achieves and manages a portfolio within a local, one branch territory, consisting of annual total revenues of approximately $500K to $00K.
**Responsibilities**
+ Achieves sales goals and executes sales plans to small to large businesses such as property managers, school systems, sport facilities, government facilities, restaurant, banks or any company in need of superior lawn care products/services.
+ Presents proposals for lawncare services and programs along with obtaining long term contracts.
+ Generates new business to business sales revenue by prospecting and adding new commercial customers.
+ Negotiates price and design by using company provided guidelines and technology/CRM.
+ Generates leads through utilizing a CRM system to manage projects and opportunities, contact information, forecasting reports, etc.
+ Project management duties within branch, including coordinating with local branch management and service team.

**Education and Experience Requirements**
+ Preferred Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university or related work experience

+ Landscaping, lawncare, tree and shrub or pest experience a PLUS
+ Valid Driver's License Required

**Pay Ranges**
50,400.00 - 84,000.00
This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Overview

Position Overview:

The Task Force Business Development Sales Manager is responsible for driving new revenue opportunities and expanding market share for assigned hotels through proactive outreach, strategic prospecting, and relationship development. This role focuses on identifying and converting high-value group, corporate, and catering opportunities while also strengthening relationships with key accounts to achieve or exceed property and portfolio sales goals.

The position requires flexibility, with approximately 25% travel to assigned hotels to execute on-property sales initiatives and 75% remote work to manage business development efforts, prospecting, and follow-up activities

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Prospecting

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across group, catering, and corporate market segments.
  • Conduct targeted prospecting via outside sales calls, virtual outreach, networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences.
  • Develop creative strategies to penetrate new markets and re-engage lapsed accounts.

Sales & Revenue Generation
  • Achieve or exceed portfolio sales goals, lead conversion rates, and revenue targets.
  • Maximize revenue by effectively selling all facets of the hotel to prospective clients, both in person and virtually.
  • Leverage market data, competitive intelligence, and brand resources to position hotels effectively.

C lient Relationship Management
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers, planners, and organizations to ensure repeat business.
  • Conduct site inspections, presentations, and client entertainment in alignment with sales strategy.
  • Maintain high service standards to ensure strong client satisfaction and positive word-of-mouth referrals.

Collaboration & Execution
  • Partner with on-property teams to execute sales initiatives and ensure seamless hand-off of booked business.
  • Support hotel sales leaders with targeted sales blitzes, lead follow-up, and special projects.
  • Ensure all leads, communications, and proposals are documented accurately in sales systems.

Market & Portfolio Support
  • Represent multiple properties within the HEI portfolio as assigned, adjusting sales strategy to each market.
  • Participate in portfolio-wide initiatives, sales missions, and strategic marketing efforts.
  • Provide market feedback and competitive insights to Regional and Corporate Sales leadership.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 2+ years of hotel sales experience, preferably with business development or multi-property task force exposure.
  • Must have experience at varying sizes and tiers of Hotels and Resorts.
  • Ability to be flexible with work location and travel.
  • Ability to respond, evaluate, and close business opportunities (Leads).
  • Proven track record in achieving sales and revenue growth goals in multiple market segments.
  • Strong prospecting, lead generation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced role with changing assignments.
  • Good working knowledge of multiple brands and Hotel Sales Systems (e.g. Delphi FDC, CiTy, Envision)
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, features, and competitive landscapes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to various audiences.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
