**About this role:**
Wells Fargo is seeking a Branch Small Business Banker (SAFE) in Consumer and Small Business Banking. As a Branch Small Business Banker (SAFE) you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and growing relationships with small business banking clients in the branches. **In this role, you will:**
+ Participate in selling products to business customers including business deposit accounts, business credit products, and working with partners including, but not limited to merchant services and ADP payroll services.
+ Service business customers with their business needs in a branch environment
+ Carry out business banking focused functions over the phone
+ Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations
+ Provide information to colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including customers
+ Act as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of small business customers with annual gross sales between $500k and $MM in an assigned territory using customer relationship management tools and systems and coordinate efforts with partners across the bank
+ Work proactively to build and grow relationships with new customers and engage with existing customers by asking questions to learn about their financial needs, understanding their goals, and sharing how Wells Fargo can help them through proactive outreach, phone or in-person visits, plan and execute appointments
+ Participate in community organizations and build relationships with centers of influence
+ Create relationships with branch employees by making introductions to appropriate partners to help meet customers' broader financial needs, complete service requests, and resolve customer concerns by following resolution protocol
+ Engage with customers in all phases of the business life cycle while following policies and leveraging product knowledge, conduct needs based conversations identifying credit, deposit and servicing processing needs of customers, explain, and demonstrate self-service mobile options to customers
+ Serve as a leader in managing risk; understand and manage risks in the business, adhere to policies, procedures & controls and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules & regulations
+ This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. **Required Qualifications:**
+ 2+ years of branch small business banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

We're seeking an individual with an entrepreneurial drive to identify and secure business opportunities with new and existing customers where our capabilities can create superior value for customers and the company. This role can be in based in Scottsdale, AZ or remotely within the U.S. and will require 25-50% travel to accomplish business objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Understand the Solar and BESS Services market and help establish short and long-range strategic plans for sales (O&M, Repowering, Restoration, etc.)

  • Participate in customer engagements, trade shows, industry events, etc. to build confidence in DEPCOM's capabilities to foster preferred partnerships that provide mutual benefit

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in the power and utility sector with exposure to renewables
  • Experience selling and providing utility/energy services
  • Exposure to O&M, repower, restoration, and other service offerings through OEM, EPC, or subcontracting
  • Understanding of energy markets and how various customer types (utility, IPP, developer, etc.) view/prioritize services
  • Experience in developing pricing strategies and negotiating agreements with customers, vendors, or partners to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Detailed knowledge of solar and BESS maintenance strategies and familiarity with equipment used in utility scale solar and BESS facilities
  • Experience as an asset owner

For this role, we anticipate paying $150,000 - $190,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience of working in public sector procurement, specifically within Healthcare
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of leading and managing the sales cycle from opportunity identification to successful implementation, including the ability to input into all key aspects, such as solution design, financial modelling and risk analysis
  • A proven track record of achieving set targets in business development and/or operations (new and existing accounts) at a senior level
  • Track record of networking, building credible relationships and influencing external stakeholders, competitors, employers and commissioners
  • Experience of managing the capture process (from early sales to securing successful bids) for new business.
