Job Description: The Business Development Manager is primarily accountable for identification and qualification, capture of Department of Defense (DoD) business opportunities, and leading the development of a qualified pipeline necessary to meet or exceed the companys forecast and plans. Required Skills:

Leadership skills to develop, organize and execute significant BD activities, including building industry teams, assessing win probability, and executing customer call plans.

Education: Bachelors degree, preferred in related technical field

Experience / Education:

Technical Skills / Knowledge:

  • Demonstrates a broad understanding of discovery biology leading to candidate selection and preclinical development.
  • Demonstrated ability to couple business insight, understanding of market dynamics and ability to translate business opportunity and business growth.
  • Able to close deals by effectively utilizing internal resources.
  • Demonstrated abilities in the areas of listening, negotiations, teamwork, and persuasiveness.
  • Coordinates with other BDs or scientific counterparts to provide appropriate solutions to clients.
