MANTECH seeks a mission-minded, operationally relevant, and highly motivated **Director, Navy Business Development** to join the ManTech Navy Segment leadership team in **Lexington Park, MD.**
As a Director, you'll execute in a lead role to expand MANTECH's footprint in the Navy market, with a keen focus on Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and associated organizations responsible for the acquisition, modernization and sustainment of the surface, subsurface and uncrewed platforms. You will also focus on additional development within Naval Air Warfare Centers, Fleet Readiness Centers, Naval Surface Warfare Center CRANE (NSWC CRANE), Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) and related organizations.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Drive pipeline growth and revenue: Develop and manage robust opportunity pipelines in the CRM to achieve business objectives and financial goals.
+ Cultivate strategic Navy relationships: Build and expand customer relationships within NAVAIR and other Naval Aviation commands, focusing on digital transformation, systems engineering, data and AI applications, Cyber and innovation.
+ Pursue emerging defense opportunities: Actively identify and pursue new business in Manned, Unmanned, Weapon and support systems for the Aviation Enterprise. This includes LVC, Wargaming and training of our sailors and Marines.
+ Leverage MANTECH's capabilities and expertise: Collaborate with the Navy Segment team to apply deep knowledge of the Navy and MANTECH's capabilities and contribute to capture strategies and proposal development.
+ Contribute to growth strategy: Assist Navy Segment leadership in developing growth strategies and be prepared for significant national and occasional international travel (varying but up to 50%).
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Strong, established NAVAIR relationships with a proven ability to build trusted relationships with new customers at all levels. Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with outstanding EQ.
+ Minimum of 2 years of relevant business development experience, including 2 years of demonstrated success in the Navy markets. An equivalent combination of military or government experience may also qualify.
+ 2+ years NAVAIR enterprise experience including acquisition programs, engineering commands, or business operations.
+ Ability to establish and maintain a 3+ year sales pipeline of qualified business opportunities by constantly identifying and qualifying new opportunities.
+ Proven track record of leading and executing account planning and management for large, complex captures, valued from $50 to $250 million.
+ Willingness to travel as needed to achieve mission objectives.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Active-duty military experience, particularly in the maritime service.
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Experience with GSA FEDSIM, SeaPort-NxG, DTIC IAC MAC, OTAs, CSOs and developing market strategies and account plans
+ TS/SCI eligibility highly preferred
+ Must demonstrate exceptional social & communication skills, executive demeanor, and relationship management techniques
+ Active social media engagement with positive personal brand and ability to support Mantech brand elevation efforts
**Clearance Requirements:**
+ Must have a current/active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI

**Leidos' Airborne Solutions Business Area (ASBA) is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to manage and grow the United States Navy's airborne manned and unmanned portfolio of programs.**
The Business Development Manager will actively participate in the identification and development of new opportunities, managing program captures, proposals and strategic planning. The selected candidate will work with the ASBA, and senior Leidos staff to execute program strategies and business plans, conduct program reviews and customer assessments, manage discretionary investment funds, and build and maintain relationships with external and internal customers.
The successful candidate will be a business development professional with experience in the Defense Industry, including experience working on full life cycle programs (programs of record experience desired). The primary focus is on airborne systems, including full life cycle systems development, sustainment and operations.
Duties include all phases of customer relationships, business development, and capture management with emphasis on identification, qualification, and capture phases. Individual will be an integral part of the ASBA team, supporting proposal activities, marketing, communications, competitive analysis, and business development. Individual will also identify and participate, as required, in marketing events such as trade shows that support capture objectives. Individual will identify and qualify prospective teaming partners.
Required expertise includes: DOD (with an emphasis on US NAVY and USMC) aviation capabilities and systems; technologies and operations; and full life cycle operations and sustainment.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and execute broad organizational strategic plans.
+ Identify and qualify business opportunities.
+ Work with line management and technical staff to develop programmatic and technology discriminators enabling successful program capture.
+ Work with the ASBA team to develop and execute capture plans during all phases of business development.
+ Identify and participate, as required, in marketing events such as trade shows that support capture objectives.
+ Up to 25% travel required.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years' relevant experience or a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
+ Active TS Clearance required.
+ Extensive Industry or Department of Defense (DoD) experience working business development activities in support of manned and unmanned aerial programs.
+ Proven capture and proposal experience, preferably for aviation programs and including programs valued at $50M+.
+ Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience and contacts with manned and unmanned aerial systems domain.
+ Business development with DoD and International Partner Nations.
+ Formal capture and proposal writing training (desired).
+ Experience developing and managing marketing and bid and proposal budgets.
+ Experience and comfort interfacing at all organization levels, to include executive/CEO.
+ Knowledge and experience with program management, program planning and execution, and systems engineering.
