The candidate will develop and test application features and modules, custom scripts, filters, dashboards, and database elements to support and automate project execution deliverables. They will assist users with extraction of data from complex data structures and environments to enable further analysis of content. Additional responsibilities may include documenting software programs, writing test cases, supporting users of tools and databases, supporting development of training materials related to new tools and processes, supporting database analytics, reporting app performance and other metrics, data governance, extracting and mapping data, and supporting web applications in a Linux environment

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement enterprise web application modules, UI features, and ancillary scripts
  • Develop and integrate automated test suites to enhance software assurance process
  • Write scripts and database queries to enable data import and export from Enterprise tools
  • Design analytics and visualization for data to ensure ease of understanding and access to users
  • Test and debug scripts, queries, dashboards, and reports from tools
  • Document tools per Intuitive procedures
  • Support PMO tools team in development and rollout of new tools and processes to wide range of users throughout the company
  • Write unit tests, requirements, and validation test cases for applications
  • Obtain user feedback for new tools and convert into technical requirements
  • Collaborate with internal AI team to develop and integrate AI tools to enhance user experience and support
  • Support management and maintenance of code repository, ensuring efficient version control and collaboration
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years experience and a Master's degree; or equivalent experience
  • Programming skills in Python, Django, JavaScript, React, Java, Velocity and Oracle/SQL
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket)
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows and Linux), system administration, networking, security protocols (TLS, SFTP, Okta), Apache, HTML, CSS, and XML/JSON
  • Data Visualization and Reporting - Tableau/PowerBi/Excel
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Cloud environment and full-stack development experience desirable
  • Experience with tools for automated software testing (Jenkins, Playwright) and CI/CD
  • Great work ethic and an enthusiasm for problem solving, tool development, and data analysis
  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused with excellent debugging skills
  • Self-starter and able to work independently and in a collaborative, results-oriented environment

You will work closely with the rest of the Software Development team, Control Systems team and Product Support team located in Australia and the United States.

What You Will Do:
  1. Develop full Stack software applications for the Autonomous Solutions products using .NET and related technologies
  2. Rearchitecting Windows based monolith applications to Linux based microservices and orchestrating them using Kubernetes
  3. Evaluate existing software applications and perform updates and modifications, including bug fixing
  4. Diagnose and resolve software-related issues in deployed products at customer sites as needed
  5. Develop technical documentation to represent the design and code of the system
  6. Work collaboratively with the software development team in an Agile environment
  7. Collaborate with the Controls Engineering team to ensure seamless product integration from PC to PLC, interfacing with mobile equipment such as drills.
  8. Support and mentor other engineers on best practices, architecture, and quality
What You Will Need:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  2. Over 7 years of experience in full-stack software development using C#, .NET, and WPF
  3. More than 3 years of experience in one of the following languages: Python, React, Go, or Ruby
  4. Over 3 years of experience with DevOps processes and tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD
  5. Proven experience in building RESTful APIs and gRPC, with a solid understanding of microservice architecture.
  6. Understanding of network security principles and practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
  7. Previous experience working with third-party vendors and offshore teams
  8. Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  9. Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal) is a big plus.
