About the role

We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Software QA Automation Engineer (Unpaid) to join our front-end team. In this role, you'll help ensure that our user interfaces are reliable, bug-free, and ready for release. You'll work closely with UI engineers, product managers, and designers to verify features, run regression tests, and contribute to a scalable, automated QA process. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in modern QA workflows, UI testing, and cross-functional team collaboration.

Location. This role is office-based at our Bellevue, Washington office.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Execute manual and automated UI test cases across browsers and devices
• Validate UI behavior and functionality in each release

As a QE Automation Engineer on the Safari/WebKit team, you will play a key role in the development and release of Safari/WebKit features for iOS, macOS, and visionOS. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for validating Safari software releases and new features to ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, developing test environments and maintaining essential tests and tools. Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $134,800 and $245,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
