Responsibilities & Duties
  • Lead the end-to-end development of web applications and APIs, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years working in the MERN stack.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ES6+ features.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Expertise in React.js for building dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
  • Deep knowledge of Node.js and Express.js for backend development.
  • Experience with MongoDB schema design, performance tuning, and data modeling.
  • Solid understanding of agile development and thriving in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $96,500 to $168,800.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

  • Proven experience writing modern software and web applications (.NET, C#, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of agile software development, automated testing, and unit testing.
  • Established experience with normalized database design and development.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based application development and infrastructure.
  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written.
  • Translate business requirements and technical designs into well-developed solutions that meet client business goals.
  • Ability to work closely with other project team members such as sales analysts, project managers, and software engineers.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or similar analytical degree plus 3-5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Desire to continue learning and to pursue professional certifications.
  • Proven ability and desire to consult and mentor others.

Staffing Solutions is the technology group within Indeed responsible for building the software that powers the Indeed Flex temporary staffing marketplace, managed-service provider service, payroll, and other staffing-related software. The Flex Agent team within Staffing Solutions is building an AI agent that will change the way employers use workforce management software. We are creating tools to automate scheduling operations, proactively optimize staffing, and give employers valuable insights into their workforce. **Responsibilities**
+ Build and maintain backend APIs to power user-facing, agentic AI products.
