Our Client is seeking a Software Engineering Team Lead to provide first-line leadership for the Core SE team. Reporting to the Regional SE Engineering Manager, this individual will oversee team performance, maintain accurate progress metrics, and support staffing activities such as interviewing, performance management, and professional development. The Team Lead must be technically proficient in the team's work in order to review deliverables and ensure quality standards are met. Additionally, this role is responsible for defining and enforcing Core SE team processes to drive consistency and efficiency. As a Sr Engineering Manager / Technology Lead in our Product Technology and Innovation organization, you are responsible for the delivery of innovative, market leading platforms and products that continue to improve the education technology industry. Specifically, you will lead technology teams in our Internal Operations business unit which includes our Content Systems, Content workflows and Content AI platforms. As a successful technology leader, you will build and lead remote software engineering organizations using agile principles to architect and deliver high availability enterprise software. You will partner closely with product and design teams and lead through data driven insights. In this role, you will divide time, effort and attention between team management responsibilities and product development responsibilities - leading multiple software development teams for content workflow automation, application development and platform support. This is a multi-functional and agile team environment. You will work jointly with other technology and product leads to provide direction and leadership to the agile teams. Managers must be comfortable with situational leadership, able to function equally well as a leader or as a team member respecting the team opinion.

**You Will Bring These Qualifications:**
+ 6 years of related experience with Bachelor's or an additional 4 years in lieu of a degree

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a **Sentinel Software Engineering Manager 2** . This position will be located in **Roy, Utah or Huntsville, AL** and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program.
This position is a dual-hat position requiring the candidate to perform functional management activities as well as technical responsibilities on the program.
**What You'll Get To Do:**
It is expected that the Functional management role will comprise approximately 20% of the candidate's time
- Responsible for assessing staffing needs, current as well as projected and working with the respective team leads to address those needs.
- Responsible for supporting recruitment activities including the creation of requisitions, conducting interviews, and approving offers.
- Work with program leaders in establishing personal, program, and functional goals as well as performing performance evaluations and merit adjustments for subordinates.
- Provide subordinates with career development recommendations, mentoring, discipline, as necessary.
- Generate training plans based on the program and subordinates' needs.
It is also expected that the technical role will comprise approximately 80% of the candidate's time. Technical duties to include, but are not limited to the following:
- The candidate will lead the Command & Control (C2) Software Test Team, consisting of approximately 20 software test engineers and automation test engineers.
- Lead a team responsible for developing, performing, and supporting test activities and test documentation at the CSCI level.
- Cost Account Management and Risk Management duties.
- Participate in technical planning, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for element capabilities.

- Verify specifications and designs through testing, test data processing, and support modeling and simulation and performance analysis.
- Site and flight test support for subsystem requirement verification.
