**Job Description Summary**

As a **Software Engineering Intern** , you could potentially support the organization in several of the following ways:

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to join our high-caliber Product Serialization IT Support team supporting the Enterprise DSCSA Program. In this role, you'll be responsible for guiding a large team of Production Support Engineers and Analysts to develop, execute, and support innovative solutions supporting the DSCSA program. In this role, you will build relationships across business and IT leadership teams, enterprise architecture, and key stakeholders.
DSCSA (Drug Supply Chain Security Act), enacted by Congress on November 27, 2013, outlines steps to achieve interoperable, electronic tracing of products at the package level to identify and trace certain prescription drugs as they are distributed in the United States. Aimed to enhance FDA's ability to help protect consumers from exposure to drugs that may be counterfeit, stolen, contaminated, or otherwise harmful. These requirements will also improve detection and removal of potentially dangerous drugs from the drug supply chain to protect U.S. consumers. Additionally, the DSCSA directs FDA to establish national licensure standards for wholesale distributors and third-party logistics providers, and requires these entities report licensure and other information to FDA. As one of the largest nationwide wholesalers we have a significant obligation and commitment to this regulatory statue are requirements.
