What you'll be doing:
  • Software and services entitlement modifications, including ownership transfers, contract/term adjustments, end-user contact changes, cancellations, and serial number updates across all applicable systems.
  • Data integrity for software and support services within applicable systems
  • Generate and maintain operational reports, charts, and metrics for assigned areas.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for new product and program launches.
  • Find opportunities for process and system improvements and collaborate with multi-functional teams for implementation.
  • EDI purchase order submissions and sales order bookings, addressing any issues with partners to determine root causes and resolutions.
  • Software NFR(Not For Resale) and non-standard evaluation entitlement process
  • Order fulfillment for software and support services, including running SAP backlog reports, closing orders in SAP, generating entitlements in EMS, and ensuring timely delivery to customers.

What we need to see:
  • Bachelor's degree or specialized training in Business Operations for software and appliance service businesses (or equivalent experience). Finance or Business IT background is a plus.
  • 2+ years of operations experience; SAP and Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Requires good interpersonal, problem solving and the capability to multi-task.
  • Understanding of various industry trends and apply technology such as web-service for EDI ordering.

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer who can apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code in languages like Java, Python, and Javascript
  • Craft and build web interfaces in frameworks such as React and Angular
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to implement and deploy ML models in production environments
  • Evaluate, integrate, and extend existing products using GraphQL and REST web services
  • Work with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Implement containerization and orchestration technologies via services like git, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, who are located across all of Blue Origin's main sites
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of tools, processes, and experiments

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of proven experience writing software and deploying it to a production environment
  • Strong proficiency in coding languages such as Python and Java
  • Demonstrated understanding of deploying web interfaces using React or similar frameworks
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and cross-team collaboration, with the ability to work with and communicate complex systems to a varying user base
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

**Job Summary**
The Partner Operations Specialist will act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to the sales organization on deal registration and operational inquiries. You will play a pivotal role in a high-stakes mission supporting the U.S. Army's global wide area network and security infrastructure. Your contributions will be essential in executing a large-scale network migration and operations, addressing service tickets, and implementing validated automated workflows for our Operations and Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and operate secure network solutions as part of a centralized enterprise capability for the U.S. Army.
  • Support round-the-clock AGUN operations to provide updates to the Global Cyber Center, ensuring effective command and control of the network.
  • Implement standard policy changes and configuration updates to the AGUN network.
  • Manage and track workflows and service tickets using JIRA Service Desk and GCC Service Now.
  • Provide real-time updates on ticket resolutions and escalate issues to higher-tier teams as necessary.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess legacy environments and deliver tier III support for the global network.
  • Identify and develop strategies for network optimization to meet performance standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and 6+ years of experience (additional years of demonstrated experience may substitute for a degree).
  • Active DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+) required before start.
  • Experience with Cisco SDWAN and knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware, and with Red Hat.
  • Proficiency in using InfoVista and working with network technologies from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols like LAN, WAN, BGP, TCP/UDP, IPSec, VPN, Routing (L2/L3) and Firewalls.
  • Strong experience with enterprise network management tools such as Palo Alto Panorama.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active CCNP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in Linux scripting and familiarity with CI/CD pipeline development.
