Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Phantom Works is seeking a **Signature Management Software Product** - **LO Engineer** to join our team in **Berkeley, MO.**
Phantom Works is Boeing Defense's advanced design division that is responsible for designing, building, and testing the future capabilities for our Nation's defense. The Phantom Works' portfolio has grown significantly over the past few years, and we need to grow our team to solve some of the toughest challenges.  
The LO Engineer will have the roles of Product Owner on a project to develop, implement, and support a signature management system. You will work with a development team to define complex software system solutions, requirements definition, execution, implementation, and support and improvement. This crucial role acts as the voice of the customer and stakeholders, making key decisions on what the system is, how it looks, and operates.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of ways to estimate system signatures, knowledge of tier level assessments, defect characterization, and calculation of impacts of defects. Experience with current systems is a plus. Experience with condition-based maintenance and maintenance processes are beneficial. A background in software development is desired.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Lead a development team
+ Develop and validate requirements for unique systems
+ Support the greater Signature Integrity Team
+ Work within an Integrated Product Team as the primary external and internal customer interface
+ Create a vision for the software System and shape requirements to meet customer needs
+ Participate in Model Based System Engineering modeling of use-cases, behaviors, and software requirements
+ Direct multi-discipline trades studies
+ Work with suppliers and customers (internal & external) to ensure compliance with technical requirements
+ Make final decisions on user-based requirements.
+ Candidates must be able to positively interact with a wide range of personnel across multiple disciplines.
+ Disseminate results and status to project stakeholders Candidate may be representing the Boeing Company to Government Customers and/or suppliers
+ Candidate will document requirements and Statements of Work (SOWs) when needed.
+ Strong organization and documentation skills will be needed to manage multiple simultaneous projects in various states of maturity and/or multiple activities within a single project

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
+ Senior (Level 5) Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of related work experience or 12+ Master's degree and 9+ years of related work experience or PhD with related work experience
+ Familiarity with one or more of the following is expected: Signature Rollup Processes, Signature Test Data Processing, Signature Data Visualization
**Typical Education/Experience:**
Senior (Level 5)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. This Software Product Owner will collaborate closely with product management, process optimization, knowledgebase teams and business stakeholders to define detailed product requirements for the CPQ platform modules. **Basic Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (System Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical Engineering, Computer/Software Engineering, etc.), Mathematics, or similar STEM field from an accredited college
- Significant Sensor / System / Platform (Weapons, Fusion/Sensors, or CNI/Datalinks) knowledge/experience
- Demonstrated history of analysis and critical thinking
- Experience and/or knowledge of the Systems Engineering Process
- Experience with Agile software development
methodologies and tools, such as Jira
- Python ,C/C++, or Java experience
- SECRET security clearance with investigation within the last 5 years

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
