**Steampunk** ** is** seeking a **Pre-Sales Solution Engineer** to drive pre-sales technical engagement and solution design for ourFederalmarket clients. This individual will report to the Chief Technology Officer andwill team with our client portfolioteams to seek anunderstandingof ourclients'technical requirements, envisioning innovative solutions, and supporting business development activities through technicalexpertiseand consultative skills. **Contributions**
You will work as a key technical resource supporting Steampunk's business development and client engagement efforts. We are looking for candidates with5-10 years of experience who can serve as trusted technical advisors to Federal clients and internal sales teams. This role requiresstrong communicationskills to articulate technical solutions to both technical and executive audiences, along with the ability to understand diverse client environments and craft tailored solutions.
You will act as both technical consultant and strategic advisor, bridging the gap between Steampunk's technical capabilities and client mission requirements.
**Responsibilities include:**
+ Serves as the primary technical resource for pre-sales activities across all Federal market sectors (Homeland, Federal Civilian, Health, and DoD)

**Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance
+ BS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and5years related IT experience
+ 5-10 years of technology experience withdemonstratedexpertisein 2-3 of the followingareas, with working knowledge across the remaining areas:
+ DevSecOpspractices and tooling
+ Cloud Architecture, Engineering, and Operations (AWS, Azure, GCP)
+ Software Development and modern development practices
+ Cybersecurity frameworks and implementation
+ Data Architecture, Engineering, and Operations
+ Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence
