This Business Solutions Consultant role is a key member of the Technical Operations organization and focuses on building and supporting the reporting and analytics environment for the NBCUniversal Studio Group. This individual partners with stakeholders across all Studio functions to identify analytics needs that will optimize the performance of the business and enable data-driven decision-making. This role also requires strong knowledge of modern data warehouse and business intelligence platforms in order to define and create reporting and advanced analytics solutions.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain relationships with Studio business teams. Learn and understand how our content is created, marketed, and distributed globally and be the subject matter expert on the systems and data used to support these functions.
+ Learn the KPIs that drive the business and identify opportunities to improve their decision-making process and enhance their analytics capabilities.
+ Engage with business stakeholders to define and prioritize new project requests. Lead discovery and design sessions, documenting functional requirements and technical specifications.
+ Collaborate with enterprise technology teams to create reporting solutions and advanced analytics products that enable business insights.
+ Provide oversight to technical teams, reviewing designs and ensuring deliverables meet business requirements.
+ Manage the reporting and analytics application ecosystem and serve as the point of escalation on day-to-day operational activities.

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience
+ Minimum 8+ years of experience developing and maintaining medium to large-scale data warehouses with at least 4 years in a lead role
+ Minimum 6+ years of experience in a reporting and analytics role that engages directly with business stakeholders
+ Hands-on experience with business intelligence architectures and implementation experience with the technologies that support them, ranging from traditional data discovery and reporting toolsets to database, ELT, and ML platforms
+ Strong knowledge of data architecture including a foundation in data warehousing concepts, data normalization, and dimensional data modelling
+ Understanding of Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience with integrating into traditional hosting models
+ Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience using complex table joins and advanced analytical functions
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather input from multiple sources and articulate technical recommendations that drive key architecture and business decisions
+ Working knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI, MicroStrategy, or Tableau
+ Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment with the ability to leverage resources and skillsets across various functional and technical domains
+ Understanding of IT project management methodologies and SDLC processes, such as Agile Scrum and Waterfall
+ Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the comfort to communicate with all levels of the organization

The Sr Business Solutions Manager will be part of our Film & TV Studios Technical Solutions team and will report into the Studios Technology Solutions organization. This role will manage various functional and technology stakeholders on analytics initiatives for the Film business to support the growth and adoption of data and analytics. Business support areas will include, but not necessarily be limited to, Global Data Strategy, Film Strategy & Business Development, Marketing, Theatrical Distribution and Finance. The role will manage technical program delivery and support for these business areas and serve as an engagement liaison to business stakeholders and technology teams across our divisions.

Requirements/ Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
+ 12+ years of experience in project or program management
+ 12+ years of experience developing technology solutions to address business needs, applying software disciplines, with a strong understanding of software development
+ 12+ years of experience in application production support, change management processes and have a structured approach to troubleshooting issues and bug fixes
+ 10+ years of experience working with data and analytics tools and platforms
+ 10+ years of working with advanced data platforms and technologies such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Vertex AI, Cloud Composer, BigQuery ML, AutoML (AWS), and S3, with deep understanding in Python and SQL for building scalable data pipelines, performing complex analyses, and deploying machine learning models.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Need:
