- The DMS Program Director will monitor and manage student progress and attendance, student advising, and grade reporting.

Responsible for the ongoing development, implementation, and instruction of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography degree program courses across multiple campuses. Courses will be a combination of on-campus, online, or hybrid instructional delivery. Duties also include participation in college committees and participation in professional enhancement. - Establishes, measures, and evaluates program or departmental student learning outcomes and ensures content and instructional activities are integrated into course delivery that will result in students achieving desired outcomes, documenting their attainment and reporting within the Taskstream system.
- Correlation of clinical education with didactic education using approved curriculum format
- Responsible for development and course edits to Blackboard master course shells;
- Periodic revision and selection of course materials including textbooks, instructional supplements and aids, and online educational resources
- Review and revision of program handbooks/manuals
- Coordinates, reviews, and recommends program expenditures for program needs within established budget parameters and administrative procedures.
- Oversees program budget and approves purchase requisitions for supplies and equipment.
Accreditation/Program Assessment
- Maintains appropriate Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRCDMS) accreditation for the program; has current knowledge of accreditation policies and procedures
- Maintains annual reporting guidelines for JRCDMS
- Attends program IFCC meetings.
- Maintains assurance of effective program operations and manages ongoing program assessment.
Supports Discipline/Division
- Manages and supports all full-time and adjunct program faculty; completes evaluation of and observation of adjunct faculty; participates in training of all full-time faculty.
- Plans and participates in program advisory committee, ensures minutes, Plan of Work, and committee membership list are uploaded to Knightshare promptly.
- Consult with the appropriate Dean or Associate Dean on full-time and adjunct faculty staffing needs.
- Assists with student recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
- Position may require committee and project assignments or other duties as assigned as well as day/evening/distance learning classes and activities.
- Maintains ARDMS credential, as required by accrediting body

About the Role:This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to work well under pressure, think critically, and provide excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- To conduct routine radiographic studies in diagnostics, utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment.
- To perform procedures in more than one modality, requiring multi-modality training and/or certification.
- To maintain proficiency in each of these areas, adhering to department policy regarding routine.
- To provide radiation safety for operator and patient, following standards and protocols set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- A graduate of an approved accredited radiography program.
- Registered with ARRT.
- Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
