**Job Overview**
**Fairview Range is seeking an X-Ray Operator to join our Diagnostic Imaging team in Hibbing, MN.**
The DI Operator performs imaging procedures by applying ionizing radiation for an accurate diagnosis. This position will provide both inpatient and outpatient services.
**Schedule:** This position will work 72 to 80 hours per two weeks. The shift length will be 8 hours on the day and evening shifts. Weekends as needed.

We provide a vast array of imaging services including x-ray, CT, MRI, mammography, fluoroscopy, and pain management, as well as ultrasound and nuclear medicine. As a Diagnostic Imaging Operator, you will be responsible for:
+ Performs quality Diagnostic Imaging procedures with accuracy and competency.
+ Operates equipment using proper technical factors while providing radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
+ Ensures the procedure is explained to the patient prior to the exam.
+ Assures care of the physical and psychological needs of the patient by maintaining proper positioning and transferring techniques.
+ Maintain accurate patient records.
+ Ensure equipment is warmed up and in proper working order.
+ Ensures x-ray table and equipment are cleaned on a daily routine basis.

· Establishes and maintains positive rapport between department employees, physicians and ancillary departments to ensure the continuance of a harmonious work environment

· Provides guidance and direction in problem resolution; serves as a liaison between employees, physicians, and hospital administration

· Serves as a patient advocate

· Works closely with the Medical Directors and the hospital administration regarding capital equipment acquisition, facility and staffing needs

· Ensures compliance with all state and federal guidelines

Job Overview

Fairview Range is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for Diagnostic Imaging Department in Hibbing, MN.

The Radiologic Technologist performs quality imaging procedures by applying ionizing radiation for an accurate diagnosis, and is responsible for patient flow, supplies, equipment management, and CT QC testing. This position provides quality patient care and customer service. You would assume responsibility for the Diagnostic Imaging Department when functioning as a sole technologist and independently perform procedures in assigned specialty areas with on call responsibilities, where applicable.

Schedule: This position will be working 72-80 hours per two weeks. Typical schedule may include 8 and 12-hour Day/Evening/Night shifts and rotating weekends with on-call requirements. Experience in Mammo, Dexa, MRI, or other modalities is a plus. Enjoy the flexibility to work in a multitude of modalities fitting your competencies. Responsibilities

• Perform quality Diagnostic Imaging procedures with accuracy and competency and Standard of Patient Care

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing the individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process. The RN provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, evaluation, and patient health education within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
The Imaging RN monitors and assesses both inpatients and outpatients undergoing minimally invasive procedures, treatments and examinations. Responsibilities
Coordinates care in collaboration with members of the patient's treatment team.
Reviews physical exams and health histories, physicians' orders, prior relevant images, and laboratory findings.
Conducts nursing assessments and routine observation for patients within established time frames.
Provides direct patient care including administering medications including but not limited to moderate/conscious sedation, injections, intravenous infusions and other treatment interventions while operating standard critical care equipment safely and correctly.
Recognizes and intervenes in life threatening emergencies, including the administration of emergency drugs, and defibrillator or other emergency treatment.
Documents patient assessment findings, care rendered, procedures performed, and other various aspects of patient plan of care making periodic updates related to the patient's condition and response to treatment.
Provides patient and family health education based on assessed needs for indicated procedures performed, medications administered, overall wellness, and directions for follow up care.
Adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines and quality control methods.
