Adecco is assisting a local Waste Management facility, seeking **Recycling Sorters** in **Portland, ME** . This is a temporary or temp-to-hire opportunity paying **$20 / HR** , plus the possibility of overtime!
**Schedule** **- Monday - Friday - 6:00AM - 4:00PM**
**Functions and Responsibilities:**
+ Sorting Recycled material - able to identify and remove waste from recyclable products
+ Maintain a high level of job safety
+ Flexible with schedule and hours worked
+ Other duties as assigned
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
+ Able to give, take, and follow oral and written instruction
+ Able to communicate clearly, able to establish and maintain effective working relations
+ Able to participate in semi-skilled tasks - standing for an entire shift and lifting up to 50 lbs
+ Able to work as a team with a high degree of productivity
+ Able to make quick and accurate decisions

Donations Sorters/Pricers are team-oriented, friendly and go out of their way to help our donors. They are able to lift incoming donations (up to 50 lbs.) and are able to evaluate the merchandise and price it appropriately. We seek individuals who make work a priority and who enjoy meeting high expectations in a fast-paced environment.
