Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes. Test batteries in generators, emergency lighting, etc. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and current National Electric Code and local codes. Read and follow blueprints/schematics. Respond to repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, and appliances. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. **Basic Qualifications :**

+ Technical competence, the ability to read and understand detailed instructions, blueprints, flowcharts, schematics and engineering documents, and pass all compliance necessary for technical and safety training

Job Summary
Primary responsibilities include operation of all Audio Visual (AV) support resources for Conference Solutions. Collaborate professionally with Conference Solutions staff, Compass employees and other departments to service all AV technical support requests for events. This Audio-Visual Technician position is a higher-level field leadership position designed for technicians to support small and large/ complex jobs under the supervision of the assigned manager of the project. You must be able to properly plan and delegate duties to the assigned onsite technicians to keep the installation within the time standards set for job completion.
Starts with participation in kick-off and close out meetings, daily dissemination of workload objectives, and reporting of daily status to the manager assigned to the project.
Coordinating with contractors and other trades occupying the same workspace, and the management of daily/weekly safety inspections and final project documentation is also required.
Must be able to manage and be accountable for the material.
As the onsite lead you must manage that material from the time it is distributed to the job site and installed, to the time that the excess materials are returned and processed back into the warehouse.
The onsite lead is responsible for the oversight and quality of all work being conducted onsite to identify and correct any poorly conducted installation.
Be able to conduct onsite training with technicians who are exhibiting poor installation practices, and assisting the manager assigned to the project in moving the project along.

Skills and Requirements
Calibration and Set up of Digital Signal Processors (ex: Biamp, Symmetrix, Extron, ClearOne, and others)
Control system (ex: Crestron, AMX, Extron Level I training)
Calibration and Set up of HDBase-T System (ex: Crestron, AMX, Extron)
Calibration and Set up of Video Conferencing Systems (including wall processors, scalers, edge blending)
(ex: Polycom, Cisco, Crestron, Poly, Biamp, and others)
Calibrate & Set Up - audio/video & control routers & transmission systems (i.e. Crestron NVX, Visionary Solutions, Biamp Tesira Lux)
Correctly perform configuration and modifications to AV control processors (i.e. Crestron, Extron, AMX and others)
Effectively review the AV scope of work and drawings to assist engineering during install
Coordinate with ordering department for delivery of equipment, coordinate for miscellaneous equipment as needed
Effectively execute the RMA process CTS, CTS-D (design) or CTS-I (installation) null

Job Summary
Summary: Ensures that all audio visual requirements requested by clients are met and will be able to interface various types of audio visual, communication, and presentation technology. Responsible for maintaining positive customer relationships and ensuring timely responses to all inquiries for space or service needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Reviews customer and meeting planner requests from the reservation system and provides equipment/assistance at the time and place necessary. Also responsible for gathering information from email and phone communications and distributing to the assigned contact.
+ Provides problem escalation support and issue resolution. Follows-up on service challenges and works with the manager to take corrective action.
+ Provides technical assistance for all meetings and customers that require tech services for their events.
+ Follows SOPs for audio-visual support, as provided by the AV Manager and Director of Technology and Operations.
+ Adheres to preventative maintenance room sweeps on a weekly basis, and reports sweep information through the database.
+ Changes data projectors, lamps and cabling pieces associated with all the various integrated systems throughout the portfolio.
+ Reviews operation of equipment with customer and ensures that the customer is comfortable with its operation.
+ Offers assistance in operation of equipment and helps solve problems if customer is unsure of requirements.
+ Educates the staff and customers on the basics of all AV equipment in the facility.
+ Maintains metrics associated with room equipment inventory and repairs/replacements completed in conference rooms.
+ Communicates with co-workers and service partners to ensure updated information is shared.
+ Assists with conference room set-ups, break downs and any other areas where assistance is needed.
+ Keeps the A/V storerooms organized and well managed.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ Minimum of one year of experience supporting audio visual for events.
+ Proficient computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
