**What will I be doing?**
As a Spa Supervisor, you will assist the Director of Spa and Wellness in supervising and maintaining the integrity of the Spa operation. You will ensure the guest experience is one that is beyond and expectations of the guest. Oversee and monitor the Spa Attendants and Spa Concierge teams. Assist in the retail operation. Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a gracious, enthusiastic, helpful and professional attitude with all guests and Team Members.
+ Create special conversations with guests, which identify personal preferences in order to record in each guest's profile history.
+ Maintain a daily record (via Book4Time software) of all guest requests, reservations and confirmations for guests.
+ Manage and effectively executes guest recovery situations for the Spa.
+ Supportive leadership and effective coaching that facilitates continuous learning and skill development of team members.
+ Assist Spa Attendants and Spa Concierge with guest experience in Spa, providing tours and maintaining daily cleanliness of facility during operating hours.
+ Possess professional telephone etiquette for booking appointments, handling guests' requests, and guests' inquiries.
+ Troubleshoots potential guest, team members, and operational problems.
+ Prepares work schedules for personnel, trains concierge and attendants.
+ Demonstrates respect, sensitivity, and concern for guests' needs in a professional and gracious manner.
+ Provides information about the Spa and its treatments and concepts as well as pricing, as requested.
+ Communicates and suggests Spa programs and treatments that would be appropriate for guests and residents' needs.

+ Maintain par levels for beverage supplies and guest use amenities.
+ Coordinate with Housekeeping Supervisor or contract cleaning company to maintain high levels of cleanliness in nightly cleaning.
+ Ensure the overall smooth operation of the check in, check out and guest experience.
+ Organize Spa programs for guests participating in conference/group visit.
+ Liaise with Residential Manager for resident's requests and proactive sales programs.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm appearance
+ Comfortable around guests in a state of undress.
+ Communicate and describe in an articulate manner the boutique products and their benefits.
+ Ability to compare and contrast the different skin and body care products offered.
+ Recommend and up-sell products that fit the guests' needs.
+ Regularly check physical inventory with computer inventory to ensure appropriate inventories.
+ Create and change product displays to promote various products.
+ Spa MOD in the absence of Spa Management.
+ Responsible for initial and continual training of team members.

This position provides strategic leadership, oversight, and program management for Lake Superior College's facilities management, public safety, emergency management, Clery compliance efforts, serves as the Colleges Deputy Title IX Coordinator, and the environmental health and occupational safety programs. This position ensures a safe and secure campus environment through effective policy development, regulatory compliance, collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies, and all training related to safety and environmental issues within the college. The Director supervises departmental personnel and manages vendor relationships to support campus-wide safety initiatives. This role is critical to maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including the Clery Act, Homeland Security requirements, and all Fire Department safety requirements. This position plays a key role in the college's commitment to equity, inclusion, and community engagement.
The Director of Public Safety and Facilities is the institution's primary liaison with outside law enforcement and emergency personnel at the federal, state, and local levels. Due to the nature of this work, the person serving in this role is required to be on call and generally accessible to report to campus within a short time frame, unless prior arrangements have been made.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Three (3) years of experience business operations continuity planning, organizational risk management, security/law enforcement, emergency management and/or related areas. A Master's degree may substitute for 18 months of experience; Bachelor's degree may substitute for one year of experience; Associate's degree may substitute for six months of experience.
+ Experience with one or more of the following; occupational safety and environmental health, managing compliance with and ensuring adherence to occupational and environmental health and safety regulations, hazardous waste, risk management.
