The **Northrop Grumman Military Internship Program (NG-MIP)** is an approved SkillBridge Program under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29. **Responsibilities for this internship position are:**
Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) has developed the Northrop Grumman - Military Internship Program (DoD SKillbridge) utilizing the DoDI guidance for Skillbridge. During this program the service member will be on-site at his or her host company performing an individual internship in an entry to mid-level career type role. The service member will be on the job training supporting a work schedule equivalent to 40hrs per week. Outlined below are the Goals, Objectives, and Outcomes for the program.
**Goals:** Provide transitioning service members fellowship-style job skills training during the last portion(s) of their military commitment. This program is specifically designed to offer internships that result in the potential to transition to a full-time opportunity as the conclusion of the training. Interns will serve as a pipeline for high-speed, motivated military candidates into NGC.
**Objectives:** Service Members who complete the Intern program will be highly trained, capable, future employees that align to the specific needs of the organization and are prepared to meet the NG mission "Defining Possible" on Day 1. This program provides a comprehensive internship experience including professional development, networking with leadership, and training specifically focused on NG leadership principles, company history, customer/stakeholder engagement, product and service overview, and core job responsibilities.
**Outcome:** Offer transitioning service member a rewarding opportunity to join the Northrop Grumman team.
**DoD SkillBridge Eligibility:**
+ Has served at least 180 days on active duty
+ Is within 12 months of separation or retirement

As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to support efforts on both concept and product development to deliver key solutions to our customers. We cover a wide variety expertise within the systems engineering domain. This includes mission engineering, requirements, architecture, modeling and simulation, integration and test, verification and validation, and many more!
**The position will be responsible for supporting and leading systems engineering tasks for space subsystems, payloads and/or vehicles. These may include, but are not limited to:**

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Key Responsibilities:
+ Support the development of space threat models and simulation environments required for digital and live-fire operational test and evaluation (OT&E)
+ Interface with organizations across the Intelligence Community's Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE), including the DIA Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC), the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC), the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), and the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI)
+ Support working groups, specialized studies, analyses, and other activities that explore and report on specific ways to improve threat representations used in operational test and evaluation by providing engineering, technical, administrative, and programmatic support as necessary

+ Must have ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI polygraph
+ Degree in Aerospace Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or related field

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Lead technical objective development and decomposition, oversee development contractor's design, development, integration and test of an experimental space systems.
+ Oversee systems integration and interface control management.
+ Perform system integration of space segment, ground segment, launch segment and operations.
+ Develop, manage and baseline interface control documents with external and internal stakeholders.
+ Perform systems architecting and engineering activities such as system objectives definition, interface definition, design, interface management, systems integration, performance analysis, and development and refinement of concepts of operation.
+ Oversee system verification and validation.
+ Make program risks assessments and provides actionable mitigation recommendations to the program manager.
+ Independently collaborate with Government program office representatives, FFRDC, SETA, and contractor personnel.
+ Support the development, documentation, and execution of experiment plans.
+ Leads technical requirements development, systems engineering, and oversees development contractor to develop, design, produce, integrate and test space systems.
+ Advise the customer on how to coordinate with internal and external community partners to identify technology gaps, design technology development plans, and execute technology projects/programs for successful transition into customer systems 
+ Participate in program readiness and design reviews.
+ Ensure the R&D efforts are planned and conducted on a sound engineering basis including management of technical risks.
+ Develop documents and briefings to communicate work or study status, brief Government and industry as require.
+ Provide support to acquisition, source selection, and programmatic processes.
**Qualifications**
+ Current TS/SCI clearance with current poly.
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering (systems mechanical, electrical or related discipline) and 5 years relevant work experience or a Master's degree in engineering (systems, mechanical, electrical or related discipline) and 3 years of relevant work experience.
+ Demonstrated space systems engineering experience.
+ Demonstrated NRO Special Program Office (SPO) or Major Systems Acquisition (MSA) experience.
+ Experience providing acquisition support to include working budgets, schedules, contracts (drafting SOWs, CDRLs, RFPs), and supporting source selection efforts.
+ Experience working at the NRO.
**Desired Qualifications**
+ Experience supporting varied portfolio projects with dissimilar technical focuses; ideally experienced managing R&D projects.
+ Strong interpersonal skill with effective technical writing and briefing skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and energetic setting.
+ Strong working knowledge of MS office applications.

Position Overview:
Great Hill Solutions is seeking an experienced Space Systems Engineer to support advanced test and evaluation initiatives for national security space missions. This position will focus on orbital mechanics, spacecraft operations, and system integration to inform strategic defense capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in spacecraft systems engineering
  • Deep understanding of on-orbit spacecraft operations and orbital mechanics
  • Proficient in orbital modeling and simulation analysis
  • Experience with launch vehicle integration and coordination across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Skilled in developing TTPs, CONOPs, or CONEMPs through technical analysis and validation events
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with joint or operational testing, or work on Department of Defense test ranges
  • Knowledge of national security space systems and operational planning
