KBR is seeking an experienced Space Systems Expert to join our dynamic and talented National Security Space (NSS) Division supporting the Space Systems Integration Office (SSIO) in Colorado Spring, CO. The successful candidate will be a critical contributor to authoring multiple senior leader briefings for decision-making, in addition to providing strategic thought leadership ideas and guidance to the Strategic Cell within SSIO and its leaders. The selected individual will understand enterprise integration across multiple PEOs and depth of knowledge of risks and gaps. The successful candidate will provide technical recommendations for consideration on ground segment architectures to include battle management operational and tactical command and control functions (BMC2), and best practices on mitigating integration challenges in transitioning systems to operational use. In addition, the candidate shall have the ability to navigate and lead enterprise integration discussions with multiple stakeholders both internal and external to SSC, and a team of multi-disciplined engineers and SMEs.

Required Qualifications:
+ Maintain a Top-Secret/SCI security clearance
+ Obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility and accesses
+ Technical depth in battle management command and control (both operational and tactical levels)

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic Compensation:
Colorado Springs, CO $180,000 - $198,000
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:

KBR is seeking Space Systems Engineers to join our Hemisphere team. Work location is El Segundo, CA supporting Space Systems Command (SSC). Qualified applicants will serve as a trusted advisor and expert on space systems control functions and support engineering services required to enable and support the protect and defend (P&D) mission set for SSC. Successful candidates will be highly knowledgeable in design and development of entire space systems, including subcomponents. Additionally, they will be well versed in multiple space operations and space control-related fields, including, but not limited to: orbital mechanics, navigation, sensor employment, communications, optimization, and command and control.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide technical, acquisition, and operational support across a portfolio of space programs
+ Support all phases of the space acquisition lifecycle, including engineering, operations, advanced technology integration, and performance analysis
+ Develop and revise acquisition and JCIDS documentation (e.g., CONOPS, ICDs, AoAs, milestone packages) in compliance with DoD standards
+ Prepare technical and programmatic status reports and support internal and external briefings
+ Identify and recommend improvements to acquisition processes and risk management strategies; support development of risk mitigation plans
+ Support cost/schedule performance analysis
+ Review and analyze contractor deliverables (e.g., IMS, CFSRs, WBS) for compliance and performance; support DCMA surveillance and IMS reconciliation
+ Monitor program schedules, acquisition implementation, and requirement fulfillment; maintain accurate acquisition reporting
+ Participate in technical engagements such as design reviews, working groups, and program meetings; support IPTs and stakeholder coordination
+ Provide mission protection and operational insight; evaluate technical anomalies and support readiness reviews, audits, and compliance assessments
Qualifications Required:
+ Master of Science degree in related science field (orbital mechanics, space physics, etc) 3+ years or more of experience.
+ Bachelor's degree is acceptable if the candidate possesses at least 12 years of experience in this type of position or program.
+ Active TS/SCI clearance

+ Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and software engineering best practices

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's degree in engineering (systems mechanical, electrical or related discipline) and 5 years relevant work experience or a Master's degree in engineering (systems, mechanical, electrical or related discipline) and 3 years of relevant work experience.
+ Demonstrated space systems engineering experience.
+ Demonstrated NRO Special Program Office (SPO) or Major Systems Acquisition (MSA) experience.
+ Experience providing acquisition support to include working budgets, schedules, contracts (drafting SOWs, CDRLs, RFPs), and supporting source selection efforts.
+ Experience working at the NRO.
**Desired Qualifications**
+ Experience supporting varied portfolio projects with dissimilar technical focuses; ideally experienced managing R&D projects.

The successful candidates will collaborate and communicate with the Hemisphere leadership team to ensure processes and products are delivered within program schedule and demonstrate depth of knowledge as applied and used in the space control system of systems integration.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Leads technical requirements development, systems engineering, and oversees development contractor to develop, design, produce, integrate and test space systems
+ Highly knowledgeable in payload integration, sensor employment, and application of orbital mechanics as they impact space operations, CONOPS development, and mission planning
+ Performs system integration of multiple efforts to integrate complex space systems and their deployment into on-orbit operations
+ Ability to communicate clearly and in a collaborative manner with mission partners on interface control documents
+ Oversees requirements verification and validation processes and execution of them
+ Makes space program risk assessments and provides actionable recommendations to the Chief Engineer and Program Manager
+ Expertly collaborates with Government program office representatives, FFRDC, SETA, and other contractor personnel
Qualifications Required:
+ Bachelor of Science degree in related science field (orbital mechanics, space physics, etc)
+ 12 years of experience
+ Expertise in technical requirements development, systems engineering lifecycle, and application to DoD space system acquisition processes
+ Proficient in requirements verification and validation for specific space system components and subcomponents to include orbitology, navigation, sensor employment, communications, optimization, and command and control
+ Active Top Secret clearance, SCI eligible
Desired:
+ Master's degree preferred in related engineering discipline (systems engineering, aerospace engineering, etc) and 10 years of experience in DoD space system acquisitions
+ SAP eligible
+ Expertise in navigating dynamic and fast paced engineering acquisition program offices within the DoD with special focus on spacecraft bus and payloads
+ Previous experience with DoD and/or IC programs with a focus on space system architectures to include the ground segment layer
+ Recognized demonstrated leadership skills in the Aerospace or DoD working across space and ground segment organizations
+ Highly adept with writing and delivering documents and briefings with effective communication skills
Basic Compensation:
El Segundo: $170,000 - $200,000
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's work location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience, clearance level, contract affordability and in consideration of internal parity.

SAIC is seeking an experienced **Space Systems Integration Engineer (Senior Principal)** to support SAIC's Prime Program, Tranche 3 Program Integration (T3PI) and the Space Development Agency (SDA). This role is in Chantilly, VA and requires a Top Secret clearance.
As the Space Systems Integration Engineer (Senior Principal), you will be supporting the Systems Engineering and Integration of the Tranche 3 constellation, which includes hundreds of satellites accomplishing multiple mission areas including missile warning, tracking and defense and tactical communications to warfighters. You will work with the SDA, end users, space vehicle contractors, and ground segment contractors to ensure the architecture, requirements, implementation, integration and testing are executed successfully.
Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
+ Works as a key part of the overall Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) group that is the core of the T3PI team.
+ Translates system requirements into system architectures that integrate space, ground and end user systems to meet overall mission needs while considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
+ Develops interface control documents and system models that define interfaces between space, ground and end user segments.
+ Ensures segment-level specifications are consistent with system-level requirements.
+ Develops system threads that evaluate and document step-by-step functional behaviors between space, ground and end user elements.
+ Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, and trade studies.
+ Works with space vehicle and ground segment contractors to ensure designs meet requirements and interfaces across segments and systems will function properly.
+ Assists with planning and execution of system-level tests and the evaluation of segment-level test plans and execution.
**Qualifications**
Required Education and Experience:
+ Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years of relevant experience in Engineering or Engineering Sciences. Additional professional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
+ **Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI.**
+ **Experience developing space systems, preferably including space-to-ground integration.**
+ **Experience with systems engineering involving the integration of complex multi-element systems.**
+ **Experience developing space program interfaces and detailed Interface Control Documents (ICDs).**
+ **Experienced with fast-paced development programs in the space domain.**
+ **Experience with modeling space program interfaces in Cameo Systems Modeler.**
+ Excellent communication and teaming skills.
