Based in Rutland, MA, our day and residential school provides special education and treatment for youth ages 6-22 including diagnostic and assessment services, extended evaluation and placement options.
**As the Special Education Coordinator, you will:**
+ Assesand develop IEP documents in compliance with DESE regulations and state & federal laws.
+ Chair IEP meetings for students placed within Devereux School.
+ Assess student progress trends and identify students in need of additional supports.
+ Provide guidance and training to Devereux School personnel on IEP implementation and compliance, DESE regulations, and state and federal education laws.
+ Coordinate with the Curriculum Director to ensure the provision of FAPE, individualized accommodations, and specialized instruction for all students.
+ Actively participate in School Leadership Meetings and school wide incentive initiative programing for students.
