Overview
The Talent Specialist will be part of the Talent Acquisition team that strives to hire and develop the best people for our company. We are a collaborative team focused on delivering the highest quality service to our internal and external customers with professionalism and integrity.
This role will be responsible for recruiting entry to mid-level salaried (exempt and non-exempt) positions as well as managing the candidate experience for all salaried openings to ensure optimal candidate satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Provide full-cycle recruitment for a variety of entry to mid-level salary positions throughout the U.S.

Lead talent strategy meetings to ensure alignment on position, candidate profile and establish clarity on roles and responsibilities as well as providing expertise that supports the hiring of high-quality candidates.

Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for business groups such as direct sourcing, ATS CRM mining, cold-calling, networking with online communities, industry associations and social marketing.

Oversee interview process including conducting interviews to evaluate candidates against defined job criteria and recommending applicants based upon skills and experience

Work as a trusted partner to hiring manager, HR Business Partners etc. by providing external market trends.

Provide an excellent candidate experience and promote Hussmann's employment brand throughout the recruitment process as well as at various events (i.e. career fairs, information sessions etc.).

Conduct reoccurring meetings with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to determine effectiveness of recruitment plans and ensure agility throughout the process.

Advise key partners on candidate selection and areas such as candidate total reward packages.

Deliver recruitment process excellence by following internal policies and procedures, accurately tracking candidate and requisition activity in the applicant tracking system and adhering to all compliance and legal requirements.

Schedules interviews and arranging candidate travel (if needed) for all salaried positions for TA team.

Oversees the logistics of Hussmann's university recruitment program including coordinating career fair logistics, representing Hussmann at career fairs, posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews and presenting offers.

Provide support with organizing and executing summer intern activities and events.

Assist with a variety of TA projects to deliver a best-in-class recruitment experience to candidates and promote Hussmann.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (HR Management, Business Administration or related degree preferred) OR a minimum of 1+ years of HR experience required.

Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Applicant tracking systems and sourcing on job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed etc.) experience preferred.

Ability to apply a consultancy approach, challenge processes when needed while also effectively handling expectations of internal customers.

Responsibilities- Recruitment Strategy and Sourcing: Partner with leadership to identify high-priority hiring needs; proactively source candidates through resume databases, job boards, and social media outreach; collaborate with the marketing team to develop digital and print recruitment materials; and represent Chestnut at job fairs, community events, and college/university recruitment efforts.
