METRO ONE IS HIRING FOR A TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALST IN CRANFORD NJ
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting in key markets. This will be a hands-on role responsible for full cycle recruiting, employee engagement, and assisting with training. In addition, the Talent Acquisitions Specialist will support recruiting activities for new client locations. Travel required as needed, role is on-site.
Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities:
· Build applicant pipeline by researching and contacting community services, local colleges, and networking within markets.
· Determine the hiring needs of the area by establishing staffing requirements through consultation with field management and workforce scheduling.
· Utilize technology and social media networking tools as well as traditional sourcing techniques. to source the best candidates.
· Understand and be knowledgeable of talent acquisition trends and changes through research, relying heavily on data, metrics, and industry best practices in coordinating recruitment efforts.
· Ensure delivery of prompt and effective communications with candidates & workforce scheduling throughout the full cycle recruiting process
· Participate in full cycle employment engagement from applicant through employee by ensuring appropriate communications, training and onboarding occur prior to working a schedule. Further engage in regular interactions with employees to access engagement and possible referral opportunities.
· Utilize applicant tracking system to ensure all data is updated throughout the interview and hiring process.
· Collaborate effectively with human resources to ensure onboarding, compliance, and employee records are accurate at the time of hire.
· Participate in other duties as assigned.
Talent Acquisition Specialist Qualifications:
· The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience as an Hourly Recruiter, Retail Store Recruiting or Retail Management.
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
· Must be trustworthy, have a high sense of integrity, be customer-centric, results-driven and be agile and open to change.
· Ability to work independently in an office environment and produce sustainable results with minimal supervision.
· Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems (Kronos/UKG Ready will be especially helpful) and PC skills in MS Office applications
· A proven career history, with no more than three jobs in the last six years.
· Must be available to travel.
· Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
· Must be able to successfully complete a drug and thorough background check

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting in key markets. This will be a hands-on role responsible for full cycle recruiting, employee engagement, and assisting with training. In addition, the Talent Acquisitions Specialist will support recruiting activities for new client locations. Travel required as needed, role is on-site.
Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities:
• Build applicant pipeline by researching and contacting community services, local colleges, and networking within markets.
• Determine the hiring needs of the area by establishing staffing requirements through consultation with field management and workforce scheduling.
• Utilize technology and social media networking tools as well as traditional sourcing techniques. to source the best candidates.
• Understand and be knowledgeable of talent acquisition trends and changes through research, relying heavily on data, metrics, and industry best practices in coordinating recruitment efforts.
• Ensure delivery of prompt and effective communications with candidates & workforce scheduling throughout the full cycle recruiting process
• Participate in full cycle employment engagement from applicant through employee by ensuring appropriate communications, training and onboarding occur prior to working a schedule. Further engage in regular interactions with employees to access engagement and possible referral opportunities.
• Utilize applicant tracking system to ensure all data is updated throughout the interview and hiring process.
• Collaborate effectively with human resources to ensure onboarding, compliance, and employee records are accurate at the time of hire.

Talent Acquisition Specialist Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience as an Hourly Recruiter, Retail Store Recruiting or Retail Management.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Must be trustworthy, have a high sense of integrity, be customer-centric, results-driven and be agile and open to change.
• Ability to work independently in an office environment and produce sustainable results with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems (Kronos/UKG Ready will be especially helpful) and PC skills in MS Office applications
• A proven career history, with no more than three jobs in the last six years.
• Must be available to travel.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Must be able to successfully complete a drug and thorough background check

Job Summary:
The Recruiting Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates for all department positions as well as supporting the onboarding of new hires and/or transfers. He/she will identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish partnerships with the managers, effectively administer the interviewing and onboarding process, and ensure a positive new hire experience. In addition, during low periods of recruitment demands and effort, the Recruiting Specialist will support other services provided by the HR team such as, compliance, special projects and events to ensure all employees are supported throughout their employment.
Salary Range : $27.47/hr - $32.96/hr
Responsibilities:
- Job Descriptions - Consult with Program Managers and human resources team on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation, and sourcing strategies.
- Sourcing Strategies - Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting; Develop networks/partnerships to actively build database/pipeline of candidates; Conduct regular follow-up with managers, candidates, and new hires to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
- Interviews - Resume review, phone screen, interview, recommend selection of applicants and close qualified candidates.
- ATS Maintenance - Post/refresh job requisitions, update candidate status throughout the interview process; send follow up emails.
- Clearances - Arrange and track background checks; conduct reference checks.
- Administrative functions - Offer letters and email communication with candidates.
- Recruiting Events - Represent Forestdale at recruiting events (i.e., college job fairs); present at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the Agency before and after career fairs.
- Metrics - Enter, track, and report recruitment and onboarding metrics.
- Teamwork - Become familiar with other areas of HR (onboarding, orientation, compliance etc.) to assist with coverage when necessary.
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of human resources, talent acquisition and interviewing experience preferred.
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Demonstrated knowledge of various recruiting techniques, and experience in online/social media recruiting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- ADP experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service, negotiation skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels throughout the Agency
- Self-starter with excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Creative in brainstorming and proposing new ideas and solutions to existing problems.
- Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours.
- Willing and able to travel to job fairs and other sourcing locations.
