Job Summary

In this role, you will play a key part in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, collaborating closely with hiring managers, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and bilingual in Korean and English (preferred), with a strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and HR processes.
Job Description
  • - Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs, develop job descriptions, and define role requirements
  • - Create, manage, and update job postings on platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other relevant job boards
  • - Identify, screen, and engage with potential candidates through various recruitment channels
  • - Proactively reach out to qualified candidates, share role details, and build strong candidate relationships
  • - Conduct negotiations with selected candidates to finalize compensation packages, including salary and benefits
  • - Participate in the interview process, organize interview schedules, and set up interview logistics for candidates and hiring managers
  • - Maintain accurate candidate information and records within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other HR systems
  • - Manage the onboarding process, including collecting and processing required documentation (I-9, W-4, etc.)
  • - Facilitate new hire orientation on their first day to introduce company policies, culture, and role expectations
  • - Submit approval requests for new positions and new hires
  • - Act as a liaison between Korea HQ and Regional HQ regarding hiring
  • - Input new hire information on HRIS.
Qualifications
  • - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • - 8+ years of experience in HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition
  • - Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is a plus
  • - Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • - Detail-oriented, with an emphasis on accuracy in managing information
  • - Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently
  • - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • - Be able to travel to other states and foreign countries
  • - Be able to work after business hours when required

  • Overall support for the Talent Acquisition team:

    • Offer letters: prepare and send out offer letters with supporting documents to selected candidates and follow through to onboarding

    • Process all TA invoices
    • Liaising with the IT department : ensure equipment is delivered to the candidate in time for their start date
    • Support special projects that may need assistance.
What you need for success:
  • College degree with 0-1+ year work experience OR
  • High School diploma with at least 2 years of professional work experience interacting with people or providing a support service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to adapt and learn
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook and familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment for 30+ open requisitions direct support roles such as addiction counselors, house counselors and other clinical and non-clinical roles
  • Provide exceptional hiring manager support by building strong partnerships and aligning on site-specific needs
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, alumni networks, and employee referrals
  • Review and screen applications within the iCIMS applicant tracking system to assess experience, credentials, and that they meet minimum qualifications

  • Exercise critical thinking and sound judgment to navigate nuanced hiring situations and develop effective solutions
Qualifications
  • At least three years of end-to-end recruiting experience, with a strong preference for behavioral health or social services recruiting
  • Demonstrated capacity to juggle a portfolio of 30+ active requisitions simultaneously
  • Proficiency with iCIMS or a comparable applicant tracking system for candidate screening, pipeline management, and reporting

Additional Information

This is a full-time exempt role with an annual salary of $67,000-$78,000 with a full benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 25 days of paid time off, access to a retirement account with an employer to match, and tuition reimbursement. The compensation offered for this role is dependent on experience and credentials.

This role is located in Queens, NY, and requires two regularly scheduled days in office per week, including Tuesdays and a choice between Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. We will rely on you for:
+ Overall support for the Talent Acquisition team:
+ Interview scheduling: schedule candidates with interview team according to calendar availability and communicate the schedule to all parties. In the case of onsite interviews, would coordinate travel for the candidate.
+ Offer letters: prepare and send out offer letters with supporting documents to selected candidates and follow through to onboarding
+ Background searches: initiate the background search and follow through on the process until cleared and communicated.
+ Workday ATS (Applicant Tracking System): experience is helpful and preferred
+ Process all TA invoices
+ Liaising with the IT department: ensure equipment is delivered to the candidate in time for their start date
+ Support special projects that may need assistance.
What you need for success:
+ College degree with 0-1+ year work experience OR
+ High School diploma with at least 2 years of professional work experience interacting with people or providing a support service
+ Strong communication skills
+ Willingness to adapt and learn
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook and familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint
+ Experience in Talent Acquisition is a plus
+ Experience using Workday or any applicant tracking system is a plus

The Talent Acquisition Partner will set high standards to support the Kuehne+Nagel business objectives and roadmap with talent acquisition, creating a strong workforce. As a global talent acquisition organization and Center of Excellence, our recruiters are empowered to partner and collaborate with hiring managers and HRBPs to hire great and diverse talent for the future, providing a talent centric journey and experience to job seekers and candidates by leveraging the best recruitment practices and technology.
**Your Responsibilities**
+ Carry out in-depth hiring strategy kick-off meetings with hiring managers and use job market knowledge to advise them on most effective recruiting strategy to find and hire suitable talent.
+ Post jobs on relevant internal and external channels (e.g. Job Boards, Linked-In, Database, CRM or via recruiting events, etc.).
+ Source and (pre)select suitable internal and external profiles.
+ Conduct competency-based interviews with short-listed candidates during to assess suitability and/or potential of the candidates.
+ Present hiring managers with a thorough candidate report and provide recruitment advice based on market expertise
+ Negotiate job offers with candidates and give qualitative feedback to candidates that have not been selected.
+ Conduct regular update meetings with the HR Business Partners and the hiring manager and share data on your progress as well as market insights.
+ Act as trustworthy recruitment partner, capable to provide expert talent advice but also challenge the business in certain conceptions.
+ Keep recruiting data in recruiting systems accurate and up to date at all times for KPI analysis, operational effectiveness, and creation of dashboards.
+ Support the completion of recruitment-related projects, as assigned
**Your Skills and Experiences**
+ Bachelors Degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
+ 3-5 years of recruitment experience required, in the logistics industry or high-volume recruitment environment
+ Strong organizational skills, able to manage competing priorities while maintaining composure
+ Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with strong customer-centric mindset
+ Proficiency in (ATS) and other recruitment tools/software (e.g., SAP, CRM, ChatGPT)
+ A proven track record as a recruiter, managing the end-to- end recruiting experience (in-house or agency) is essential
+ Self-motivated and eager to take initiative to provide an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience
