This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, or Mountain View, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum. The role: GM is transforming the future of mobilityand our Talent Acquisition team is leading the way by hiring the innovators who will make it happen. We're looking for a Senior Technical Design Talent Acquisition Partner with deep expertise in creative design and technical design recruitment to help us build the teams that will power our next generation of vehicles, platforms, and digital experiences. You'll work closely with senior leaders to shape hiring strategies, deliver exceptional candidate experiences, and drive results in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
What you'll do:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for mainly design roles, aligning talent strategies with business goals and workforce needs within one of the largest design studios in the United States.
- Build strong partnerships with HR managers and business leaders to understand hiring priorities and drive strategic planning.
- Leverage market insights and talent intelligence to inform recruiting strategies and support headcount forecasting.
- Deliver a high-touch candidate and stakeholder experience through proactive communication and operational excellence.
- Participate in HR and business meetings to share recruiting updates, data-driven insights, and align on talent initiatives.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance sourcing methods, tools, and processes for improved recruiting effectiveness.
- Educate and advise hiring leaders on market trends, candidate expectations, and onboarding best practices.
Your skills and abilities:
- 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on creative automotive design, and software roles is required.
- Proven ability to creatively source top talent in technical software and creative design organizations.
- Deep understanding of technical roles (e.g., technical designers, software engineering, clay sculpture design).
- Proven usage of data, recruitment data, talent insights, etc with HR and business leaders.
- Demonstrated expertise in leveraging data, recruitment metrics, and talent insights to collaborate effectively with HR and business leaders.
- Proven success partnering with senior and executive-level stakeholders in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with technical assessment tools (e.g., HackerRank, Codility) and structured interview frameworks.
- Proficiency with ATS platforms (preferably Workday) and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Entelo, or SeekOut.
- Strong executive presence, strategic thinking, and ability to influence at all levels.
- Agile, curious, and solutions-orientedcomfortable navigating ambiguity and change.
- Resilient, resourceful, and committed to delivering results with integrity.

Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position, as well as geography of the selected candidate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a college degree in a related major including human resources, psychology, industrial-organizational development, communication, business administration, social work, or similar field.
- Must have completed 2 years of coursework.
- Ability to perform comfortably in a deadline-oriented work environment.
- Skilled in standard computer applications and platforms such as Outlook and MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel.
