Our client is looking for a visionary Instructional Design Manager to lead their educational initiatives in **Indianapolis, Indiana, US**. This role is critical in developing engaging and effective learning experiences for a diverse audience. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire instructional design process, from needs assessment and curriculum development to content creation and evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM), and various e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate). You will lead a team of instructional designers, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and project management support. Responsibilities include collaborating with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, concise, and engaging learning materials, including e-learning modules, facilitator guides, and assessments. You will also be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of learning programs and making data-driven recommendations for improvement. A strong understanding of learning technologies and learning management systems (LMS) is essential. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our client's educational offerings, ensuring they are innovative, impactful, and aligned with strategic goals. This position offers a significant opportunity for leadership and impact within a growing educational environment. We are seeking a strategic thinker with excellent project management and communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree being highly preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience in instructional design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role, is necessary.
