Job Description

full-time
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Field Service Technician to provide remote, world-class technical support for complex industrial machinery. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise from anywhere within the US. You will be the primary point of contact for clients experiencing operational issues, providing advanced troubleshooting, diagnostic services, and detailed guidance via video conferencing, phone, and remote access tools. Responsibilities include analyzing system performance, identifying root causes of malfunctions, and guiding on-site personnel through intricate repair and maintenance procedures. You will document all troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and client interactions meticulously in our CRM system. A key aspect of this role is to develop and update technical documentation, FAQs, and best practice guides to enhance the efficiency of our support operations and empower our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with at least 7 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing complex industrial equipment, preferably within the manufacturing or automation sectors. A degree or certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering Technology) is strongly preferred. Exceptional problem-solving skills, the ability to think critically under pressure, and excellent communication skills are paramount. You must be adept at interpreting technical schematics, blueprints, and service manuals. Experience with remote diagnostic software and a proven ability to guide non-technical users through complex technical procedures are essential. This role demands self-motivation, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be instrumental in ensuring minimal downtime for our clients and upholding our reputation for exceptional technical support. If you are a seasoned technician looking for a flexible, remote-first opportunity to apply your in-depth knowledge, we encourage you to apply.
