We are evolving our cloud managed services and are looking for a Cloud Platform Development Manager to help design, build, manage, and onboard customers to, our next generation platform. The Cloud Platform Development Manager - Cloud Managed Services (MSP) is responsible for leading the design and development and service integration of the cloud management platform. This role also provides technical leadership to the Cloud Managed Services team. This includes integrating cloud and third-party tools and systems with our ITSM/ITOM platform and platform automation. Sometimes the Cloud Platform Development Manager will also serve as the primary technical advisor and architect to clients, translating business requirements into robust and scalable cloud solutions.
 
Responsibilities
- Provide technical thought leadership and execution on the design and build of our cloud services platform and processes.
 - Provide technical leadership to the Managed Services team.
 - Troubleshooting complex cloud-related technical issues in Azure and AWS environments, providing guidance on fastest resolutions.
 - Oversee and ensure regular maintenance, configuration updates, and upgrades of cloud services to maintain optimal performance and security.
 - Serve as the primary technical advisor and architect to clients, understanding their unique needs and business objectives. Translate business requirements into robust and scalable cloud solutions, providing recommendations and advice on best practices and innovative technologies.
 - Mentor team members, share technical expertise, and promote continuous learning. Identify skill gaps and organize necessary training to improve team competencies in cloud technologies.
 - Manage relationships with cloud service providers, ensuring contracts and service agreements fulfill customer needs.
 - Identify opportunities for process and technology improvements in the cloud space and champion their implementation. Keep up to date with the latest cloud industry trends and technologies to ensure the practice remains competitive.
 - Support Sales in customer meetings as the technical expert on the platform capabilities, processes, and services.
 
 
Qualifications you bring with you:
- 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role in the cloud computing industry.
 - 5+ years of development, automation, and operations in cloud computing
 - Proven experience in leading and managing a team of offshore and onshore resources.
 - Deep understanding of Azure Cloud Platform services.
 - Familiarity with AWS Cloud Platform services.
 - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
 - Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
 - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
 
 
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
 - Azure or AWS Solutions Architect certifications are a plus.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position in the US is $160,000-$190,000 / annually + bonuses + benefits. Redapt salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The salary range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the base pay offered may vary within the range depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to work location, job-related knowledge/skills, relevant education/training, and level of experience.
