What You’ll Do

As a Personal Training Manager (PTM), you’ll be the driving force behind our personal training department. Your role will be a blend of leadership, mentorship, and hands-on coaching, ensuring an exceptional fitness experience for both members and trainers.

    •    Lead & Motivate – Manage a team of personal trainers, guiding them to deliver top-tier fitness coaching while fostering a supportive, goal-driven culture.

    •    Train & Transform – Conduct fitness assessments and create personalized training programs to help clients reach their goals.

    •    Inspire Growth – Monitor client progress and keep them motivated and engaged throughout their journey.

    •    Drive Results – Manage new member onboarding, sales, renewals, and referrals, helping expand our community.

What You Bring

    •    A recognized personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, etc.) with valid CPR/AED certification.

    •    1-2 years of sales experience (preferred) with a knack for building relationships and closing deals.

    •    A passion for coaching and leadership, with the ability to motivate and elevate a team.

    •    A deep understanding of fitness, exercise physiology, and nutrition.

    •    An energetic, results-driven mindset with outstanding communication skills.

Our client, a prestigious collegiate athletic program, is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Sports Performance and Athletic Training to lead their comprehensive athlete development initiatives in Provo, Utah, US . This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of strength and conditioning, athletic training, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and nutritional guidance for student-athletes across multiple sports. You will develop and implement cutting-edge, evidence-based sports performance programs designed to enhance athlete strength, speed, agility, endurance, and overall physical preparedness while prioritizing long-term health and injury mitigation. This position requires a deep understanding of exercise physiology, biomechanics, kinesiology, and sports medicine. You will lead, mentor, and manage a team of strength and conditioning coaches and athletic trainers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. Developing and managing departmental budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and maintaining top-tier training facilities are key responsibilities. The Director will work closely with head coaches, medical staff, and sports psychologists to ensure a holistic approach to athlete well-being and performance. You will also stay abreast of the latest research, technology, and best practices in sports science and athletic development, integrating innovative strategies into the program. This role involves extensive data analysis and performance tracking to inform training methodologies and measure athlete progress. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sports performance and athletic training programs for all student-athletes.
  • Oversee strength and conditioning, injury prevention, and rehabilitation protocols.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of strength coaches and athletic trainers.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, coaches, and sports psychologists to ensure holistic athlete care.
  • Manage departmental budgets and oversee training facility operations and equipment.
  • Conduct performance testing and analysis to track athlete progress and inform training strategies.
  • Stay current with advancements in sports science, exercise physiology, and athletic training.
  • Ensure adherence to NCAA regulations and ethical standards in all program aspects.
  • Promote a culture of athlete well-being, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Educate athletes on proper training techniques, nutrition, and recovery strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a related field.
  • SCCC certification (National Strength and Conditioning Association) or equivalent is required.
  • CSCS certification (National Strength and Conditioning Association) is required.
  • AT (Athletic Trainer) certification (NATABOC) is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in collegiate strength and conditioning and/or athletic training.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or directorial role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing elite athletic performance programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of biomechanics, physiology, nutrition, and injury rehabilitation.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing departmental budgets and facilities.
