Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced analytical models to assess player performance, game strategies, and scouting data.
 - Collaborate with coaching staff to provide data-driven insights that inform tactical decisions and player development.
 - Analyze fan engagement data to identify trends and optimize marketing and outreach strategies.
 - Manage and maintain databases of sports-specific information, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
 - Utilize statistical software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL) for data analysis and model building.
 - Create compelling visualizations and reports to communicate complex findings to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
 - Identify new opportunities for leveraging data analytics to gain a competitive advantage.
 - Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in sports analytics and data science.
 - Oversee the work of junior analysts and provide mentorship.
 - Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure seamless data integration and infrastructure support.
 
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Sports Management, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
 - 3-5 years of experience in sports analytics, data science, or a similar analytical role within the sports industry.
 - Proficiency in statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning techniques.
 - Strong programming skills in R, Python, or SQL.
 - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
 - Deep understanding of sports rules, strategies, and performance metrics relevant to the specific sport.
 - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
 - Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts clearly.
 - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
