All Sports Products
- Responsible for overall product quality control
- Be accountable for quality across all youth and adult products
- Curate appropriate league experience to match league needs
- Manage the development and presentation of staff and volunteer training
- Assure quality control and strength of programs through site visits and serve as a site lead for programs whenever necessary
- Spearhead league audits & evaluations
- Develop relationships with current and future league & bar venues
- Track the needs of each site including improvements

Part-Time Staff Management
- Manage all part-time staff, including Sports Commissioners
- Identify opportunities to develop skill sets with individual team members
- Meet regularly to coach and teach all part-time staff
- Actively pinpoint stretch assignments to provide real-time opportunities for learning
- Foster an environment of praise, and constructive feedback for improvement
- Act as escalation contact for part-time staff members
- Handle new team member screening & onboarding
- Recruit, hire, schedule and evaluate excellent part-time talent to run our leagues and events
- Lead initiatives for engagement and support- including pre-season training, mid-season check-ins, and end of season celebrations
- Provide staff & volunteer feedback, review & analysis

Customer Service
- Resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiency
- Anticipate and provide proactive solutions to prevent problems from arising in the future
- Act as escalation point for player, parent, partner, and volunteer inquiries
Public & Private Relationship Management
- Develop relationships with current and future league venues
- Track the needs of each site including improvements
- Obtain permits for current and new locations
- Facilitate partnerships with community organizations, sponsor bars, neighborhoods, and potential funders
Fundraising & Development
- Support youth program funding opportunities
- Execute fundraising activities with the support of league hosts
- Expand Kids Foundation activations leveraging part-time staff
Qualifications
MUST-HAVES
- Minimum of 4-8 years of professional experience
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Can marshal resources effectively and comfortably navigate a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
This Director level ISO position over our Sports groups is a critical member of the NBC Universal Cyber Security organization, responsible for executing and contributing to the Cyber Security strategy and overseeing operational engagement with key leaders across NBC Sports and Operations & Technology teams. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead Cyber Security engagements for major NBC Sports events such as the Summer & Winter Olympics, Super Bowl LX, NBA All Stars, Premier League & the Big Ten.
NBC Universal takes a threat-centric, intelligence-forward view of Cyber Security, so this position requires a security professional with experience in proactive defense and the technical and business acumen to translate that insight into a tactical roadmap. The Dir Sports ISO will build strong relationships with the Sports organizations, leadership teams, and supporting teams to assess business practices, identify gaps in security controls and lead development and execution of cyber security strategies. A successful candidate is expected to effectively engage with Cyber Security leadership, business technical teams, internal audit, clients and regulators. This role requires the candidate to communicate the importance of key NBC Universal Cyber Security programs and services to obtain support, trust, and buy-in from business partners.
Responsibilities:
+ Partner with business leadership and service owners on the execution of the Cyber Security strategy; proactively addressing the needs of the business to consistently meet or exceed established levels of security
+ Communicate and coordinate NBC Universal's Cyber Security strategy, programs and services with a diverse group of business leaders
+ Understand the business workflows and engage with business leadership and teams to identify risks and business-aware mitigation strategies.
+ Strong understanding of threat intelligence, incident response, and risk management in a global enterprise setting
+ Provide Cyber Security thought leadership and counsel, with an understanding of business culture, audience and climate
+ Effectively articulate the threat landscape to business stakeholders and how cyber security's strategy is aligned to defend against these threats
+ Demonstrated experience building business-relevant metrics and key performance indicators supporting the measurement of Cyber security program maturity
+ Bridge individual security engineering assessments, compliance status and incident reports to calibrate the priorities. Look beyond the individual results to find overarching messages--both successes and shortcomings--and identify the critical needle moving efforts
+ Experience with security architecture and engineering across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments
+ Partner with security incident response team to resolve and close the investigation of incidents with postmortem and remediation plans
Basic Requirements:
+ Minimum 12 years work experience in Information Technology, OR 8 years of experience with a Master's level education in a related field
+ Minimum 6 years in Cyber Security leadership roles
+ Minimum 4 years of experience in executive-facing technical engagement, including strategic planning, service delivery, and stakeholder management
+ Minimum 4 years managing, coordinating, tracking projects using various PM tools
+ Ability to travel up to 25% of time
+ Must be located within a commutable distance to Stamford, CT.
Desired Characteristics:
+ Sports, Media Entertainment, or Broadcast industry experience
+ Demonstrated success in building and maturing security programs, including metrics-driven reporting and executive dashboards
+ Strong consensus-building & negotiation and skills
