Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Logistics Engineer to join our Linthicum, MD based Logistics and Product Support organization. This position involves Project leadership, including Schedule and Budget responsibilities; while also providing technical guidance and leadership to a diverse team of engineers delivering a full range of Logistics work products for Airborne, Seaborne or Ground-based radar/sensor/communication systems.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

3+ Demonstrated success in leading, collaborating, and developing complex technical projects across functional teams, with technical, cost and budget responsibilities.

3+ Demonstrated working knowledge in one or more elements of Product Support; such as Product Support Analysis or Logistics Support Analysis (PSA or LSA), Logistics Product Data (LPD) development, Technical Training for operation and maintenance of radar and/or communications equipment, or similar.

Must have a minimum of an active/current Secret clearance. Secret clearance is required to start. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance for continued employment.

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,600.00 - $147,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

A Sr. Principal Engineer for software acts as the software lead or major contributor on projects for feature improvements, sustaining efforts, and new product development efforts. To that end, this position has a salary range of $128,000 to $76,000 and also includes an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position.
