This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday, normal business hours. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify appropriate assignment of ICD-10 Codes, CPT and modifiers for facility services while adhering to the official coding guidelines and established client coding guidelines of the assigned facility
- Expert knowledge in all facility outpatient coding types: Ancillary, Emergency, Same Day Surgery, and Observation
- Abstract additional data elements during the chart review process when coding, as needed
- Adhere to the ethical standards of coding as established by AAPC and/or AHIMA
- Adhere to and maintain required levels of performance in both coding quality and productivity as established by Optum
- Query physicians when appropriate
- Maintain up-to-date coding knowledge by reviewing materials disseminated / recommended by the QM Manager, Coding Operations Managers, and Director of Coding / Quality Management, among others
- Participate in coding department meetings and educational events
- Additional responsibilities as identified by manager

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- Professional coder certification with credentialing from AHIMA and/or AAPC (CCA, CCS, RHIA, RHIT, CPC-H/COC, CIC, CCS-P, CPC) to be maintained annually
- 3+ years of experience with ICD-10, CPT, facility charging, and modifiers
- 3+ years of experience in outpatient surgery coding in a facility setting
- Intermediate level of experience working with a PC in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Excel (create and edit spreadsheets) and various EMR systems with ease
- Ability to flex and float to multiple facilities as directed
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work at least one weekend day, holidays, and overtime when there is a business need
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma center

Primary Responsibilities:

- Conduct consultations with new and existing patients to understand their goals and coordinate with surgical team members (Doctors) for their next steps
- Educate patients on our approach, procedures, and financing options
- Manage follow-ups with the clinical team and patients to ensure a seamless, positive experience
- Develop and maintain a patient pipeline, including proactive follow-ups with prospective patients
- Lead and inspire your center team to ensure the best possible patient experience
- Prior sales experience or direct exposure to one-on-one consultative selling, especially in aesthetic industries such as plastic or cosmetic surgery, cosmetics, hair restoration, or laser hair removal, is considered a plus
- Ability to quickly build rapport, assess patient needs, and create urgency that drives action
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with patients, physicians, and team members
