- Provide psychiatric coverage for the Crisis Intervention Services (CIS) and Emergency Department (ED) on weekends and holidays. Work collaboratively with the mental health professionals in the CIS/ED.
- Provide psychiatric coverage for Psychiatric Inpatient Unit on weekends and holidays. Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team on Psychiatric Inpatients Unit comprised of nurses, social workers, therapists.
- Provide psychiatric consultation for urgent medical-surgical inpatients on weekends and holidays.
- Collaborate with and provide support as needed to Per Diem Psychiatric APN.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides timely consultation to the staff in CIS and inpatient psychiatric unit.
- Provides timely psychiatric evaluations, follow-up, and medication monitoring of patients in treatment in the Inpatient Unit and other hospital services. Preferred:
1. At least one (1) year of food service or retail customer service experience preferred.
