Position Overview:
The Accountant will play a key role in managing financial reporting, compliance, and analysis for the organization. Responsibilities:
+ Perform full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (required).
+ 3+ years of public accounting experience in government and/or nonprofit clients (required).
+ Knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit financial reporting standards.
+ Excellent communication skills with ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance staff.
+ (Preferred) Experience with public pensions, investment accounting, or retirement benefit plans.

**Senior Accountant** :
Assists in the preparation of financial statements and footnote disclosures on Forms 10-K and 10-Q to comply with the regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Under general direction, responsible for the more complex accounting activities including analyzing accounting transactions & issues, preparing journal entries, preparing & analyzing financial reports and enhancing internal controls over financial reporting. This is a senior-skill level normally without supervisory responsibility.
