Qualifications- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field
- 3+ years of accounting and finance experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP or Statutory accounting principals.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to work independently.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

ResponsibilitiesStarting as an Accountant, you are executing accounting procedures and principles that will lead to financial statement, preparation, and financial analysis.
- Prepare financial statements
- Perform branch audit evaluations
- Assemble bank reconciliation and account schedule

Robinson, Farmer, Cox (RFC) is looking to hire a Staff Accountant based out of Charlottesville, VA to join our team that comes with a generous salary ranging from $58,000-$5,000 dependent on experience!
RFC was founded in 1953, as a Firm of Certified Public Accountants. RFC provides tax preparation and consultation, financial statement audits and consulting services throughout Virginia across six offices. RFC serves governments, individuals, businesses, and non-profit entities recognizing that each client is unique and important.
Staff Accountant Job Duties Include
- Participates in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports;
- Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses;
- Performs various tests of assets, liabilities, revenues, expenditures and others accounts;
- Prepares Spreadsheets relevant to audit assignment;
- Develops management letter comments;
- Prepares audit adjusting entries;
