Key Responsibilities:

As the Lead Engineer, Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs, leading a software engineering scrum team at offshore RXO Mumbai, India with responsibility for bi-weekly Sprint releases, production patches, and security updates in production. You will present and message ideas simply to clients while gathering customer feedback analyze and review business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs, leading a software engineering scrum team at offshore RXO Mumbai, India with responsibility for bi-weekly Sprint releases, production patches, and security updates in production.
- Analyze and review business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents.
- Participate in software project retrospective meetings.
- Mentor new team members.
- Work closely with Product Owner, Architect, and Development team to ensure the business requirements are implemented according to architectural guidelines and that design meets all business needs.
- Evaluate and recommend external software tools and/or process changes to boost software team productivity.
- Travel Req: 5% travel within the U.S. and to India.
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Requires six (6) years of progressive post-bachelor's experience in any software engineering or technology occupation or related.
- Experience must include the following skills:
- C#, Python, T-SQL, HTML, DHTML, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, and TypeScript;
- Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET MVC 5, Angular 13, ADO.NET, Web Services, Web API,and LINQ;
- Microsoft SQL Server;
- Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure;
- Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Apigee, Microsoft Visio, Boomi, and RabbitMQ;
- Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Apache Kafka, Figma, anddraw.io; and
- Team City, and Couchbase, Elastic Search, Kibana, Google Vertex AI, Lang Chain Framework, Llama Index, and Open AI.
SALARY: $148,949.00 / year
