We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Kenner, Louisiana. In this position, you will play a critical role in managing journal entries, financial reconciliations, and month-end closings. This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment where your skills will contribute to the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and compliance reporting. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts, including cash, payroll, and prepaid expenses.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet and income statement analysis to support management reporting.
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, ensuring accurate financial documentation.
- Maintain and update the fixed asset ledger, including depreciation schedules and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures while adhering to regulatory standards.
- Manage intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Produce financial statements, cash flow projections, and budget reports.
- Participate in department initiatives and handle ad-hoc reporting as needed.
- Analyze financial data and present it in clear, actionable formats for stakeholders.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, with a strong foundation in general ledger and journal entries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office programs is essential.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite or Blackline is advantageous.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet critical deadlines.
- Experience with corporate tax returns, sales tax, weekly payroll, and accounts payable processes is a plus.

In this role you will:
+ Contribute to the development of project and data delivery platforms with reusable components across teams that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.
+ Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
+ Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
+ Gather and analyze data and develops architectural requirements at project level.
+ Be responsible for implementation of the solution, including configuration and testing, for the aligned initiative (project/deployment/product development)
+ Participate in the Enterprise Architecture governance model.
+ Be accountable and responsible for on-time solution delivery.

**Required**
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with 6 plus years experience implementing SAP solutions in the major Materials Management (MM) modules including IM, WM, LE, EDI in SAP ECC 6.0 and above.
+ Experience MM and integration with SAP FICO, PS, SD, QM, PM, PP, RRB in SAP ECC 6.0 or above.

In the U.S., the salary range for this position is $110,700.00 - $165,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Facilitates and maintains a safe environment for patients and others. Utilizes the nursing process to develop and deliver a plan of care for assigned patients. Performs the priority technical procedures required by the area, department, and/or assignment safely, effectively, efficiently, and legally. Establishes and/or revises priorities for patient care activities based on the following: acuity of the need, resource availability, customer/patient preference/request, and other departmental needs. Communicates using appropriate channels, proper hand-off, and escalation of information, data, and significant events of problems to appropriate persons, including current patient condition, changes in the patient's condition, laboratory/diagnostic data, intake & output, nutrition needs, assessment findings and changes, changes of shift report, patient/family/physician team member complaints, defective equipment, etc to ensure continuity of care. Keeps patients informed and gives periodic updates as appropriate and positively contributes to the organizational goal of patient throughput.

Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to identify actions to improve patient care. Seeks supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform effectively or safely independently. Uses interpersonal-communication strategies with individuals to achieve desirable/acceptable outcomes/responses and the perception of satisfaction by those involved. Uses internal and/or external resources to resolve and/or prevent problems that cannot be managed independently.

Actively promotes and supports LCMC Health's performance improvement initiatives by consistently implementing infection control practices, maintaining the environment of care consistent with Joint Commission requirements, and participating in quality improvement activities and review/audit processes.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Summary of the Job :
Serves as an integral part of the post-acute care strategy to effectively reduce hospital admissions/readmissions and potentially preventable Emergency Department (ED) visits. Responsible and accountable for the coordination of care for transitional care (post-discharge) patients. The Registered Nurse will assess and provide care as it relates to the specific needs of the patient within the framework of the State Nurse Practice Act.

Minimum Qualifications : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and three (3) years of experience in an acute clinical setting. Ability to demonstrate strong organizational, decision making, delegating, communicating and customer relations skills. Current R.N. licensure with Louisiana State Board of Nursing and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross. The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off. ACLS and/or PALS, is preferred.

• Must have a valid and current state issued driver's license. Must have reliable transportation for work with current safety inspection (brake tag) and vehicle license plate registration.
• Must maintain and provide proof of automobile insurance (at his/her own expense) in amounts which meet at least the minimum liability coverage limits required by the state of their residence.
• Clearance of driving record check; Driving records shall not contain any of the following: a suspended or revoked driver's license, 3 or more moving violations in the past 36 months, 2 or more accidents in the past 36 months, 1 or more instances of driving under the influence (DUI) or driving while intoxicated (DWI) within the past 24 months, at fault in a fatal accident within the past 5 years, leaving the scene of an accident within the past 36 months, and/or reckless driving within the past 12 months.

Preferred Qualifications : Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing. Critical Care, Emergency Care, and/or Home Health experience is a plus.

Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 50 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
