Position Summary:
As the Staff Accountant at 16 on Center HQ , you will be responsible for the preparation of financials and general administrative duties such as license renewals, email communications, or filing and organizing records. The Staff Accountant must lead with the best example of enthusiasm for our concept, history, customer appreciation, and co-worker interaction. As a member of our finance team, we aim to bridge the gap between office and operations managers to create a sense of community.
- Execute weekly budget vs. actual and ad-hoc reporting to assist store managers in meeting their financial targets
- Reconcile bank statements
- Prepare monthly Profit and Loss statements
- Complete and file monthly sales and other tax reporting for assigned companies
- Review expense reports
- Complete assigned ad-hoc tasks as needed
- Execute month-end close for assigned companies
- Keep and maintain clear records to assist in any audit requests
About You
- Accounting and/or Finance degree a plus, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2+ years of experience in the hospitality industry is a plus but not required.
- Experience with Restaurant365 is a plus.
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven, and deadline-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
- Positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to accuracy and meeting/exceeding goals.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods; no lifting or physical labor required.
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule with regular in-office time at our Chicago HQ.

- Completes accident/incident reports for students/staff.
- Compiles data for statistical purposes.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding all school and health-related issues.
- Maintains a daily log of student/staff visits and documentation on individual health records
- Maintains the daily environment of the health office facility and supplies
- Utilizes existing technology effectively in the performance of duties.
- Performs other health or school related work as required.
- Utilizes continuing education opportunities to enhance professional knowledge.
- Participates as an active member of the school community, representing health/wellness.
Hourly pay as determined by the District.
Work hours may flex as the student needs change but are generally 7.5 hour/day.
