**JOB SUMMARY**
This Human Resource (HR) role is responsible for assisting in the daily operations and activities of the HR Department providing administrative support to successfully implement local initiatives, and execute regional and corporate programs. Help to create an environment to attract, develop, retain and engage talent throughout the Operating company (OpCo) to deliver business goals.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Execution of transactional core Human Resource (HR) processes (e.g. coordinate and conduct new associate orientation, unemployment claims processes, onboarding and exit interviews, transitional return to work, leave administration, OSHA reporting, etc.).
+ Support hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to support recruitment and staffing plans.
+ Aid Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to drive an inclusive and diverse culture.
+ Administer programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction levels.
+ Provides technical, customer relations, and general support for major initiatives and projects.
+ Back, maintain and track compliance programs.
+ Create and/or distribute communications (memos, emails, letters, presentations, spreadsheets, surveys, etc.).
+ Track data and/or consolidate responses as requested and follow-up with others as needed to obtain information and identify insights.
+ Administrative support for meetings, conference calls, video- conference calls, webinars/e-meetings, new hire orientation, etc.
+ Performs all other duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education**
+ High school diploma.
+ College degree or Certificate in Human Resources preferred.
**Experience**
+ 2-3 years of Human Resources Generalist, Recruitment or Employee Relations experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Manage work time efficiently.
+ Follow procedures and policies.

Training
Job training to become a human resources specialist consists of 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 9 weeks of Advanced Individual Training in Army human resources systems.  Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in the field with on-the-job instruction.

BASIC PURPOSE
Serves as a trusted, strategic advisor to Area Staff, the local management teams, and drives field execution to support business objectives consistent with organization values. Ensures alignment of HR strategy with business objectives. Serves as the primary HR liaison for the Area Staff, the HR team and the local management teams on matters affecting the area. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Drive achievement of key results for the area.
- Collaborate with Business Leaders to influence business strategy based on a deep understanding of the business implications for the area, including employee and labor relations.
- Participate in key meetings with Business Leaders to bring HR expertise to business/operational discussions with linkage to HR strategy and business objectives.
- Collaborate with appropriate HR and other teams to ensure new policies, plans, programs, and processes are effectively communicated and implemented consistently within the area.
- Drive improvement in overall team performance and direct talent planning / management which includes: 1.) supporting employee performance improvement planning-including plan development, counseling, and follow-up and 2.) working with Area Staff to facilitate the completion of all talent routines, such as TAPP and STR.
- Conduct investigations of complex Employee Relations and HR matters.
- Advise Area Leaders in conjunction with Region Leadership and Functional Partners on complex employee relations issues and manage risk effectively. Participate in the termination approval process for the area.
- Support culture change initiatives and establish key change management strategies for business-related events impacting human capital for the area.
- Work with Area Leaders to implement appropriate organizational structures as designed and key capabilities required to achieve business objectives. Complete workforce analysis for any RIF process. Work with region leadership and legal to assess risk.
- Drive effective Employee Relations activities designed to promote a positive work environment and advocate for the associate experience.
- Facilitate and follow up on the development of implementation of action plans designed to address issues surfaced through employee surveys-either locally driven or corporate driven.
- Engage effectively with Functional Partners and HR Centers of Excellence. In a market of this size with implications for Region and Company performance, partnering proactively, providing feedback, and engaging across the HR function is essential to successful execution of initiatives.
- Provide insight into Area specific needs for training to Region Leadership and centralized talent management team.
- Lead the HR team for the area with demonstrated people leader skills including the ability to coach and counsel other people leaders
- Other duties as assigned by manager
- Travel required 10% to domiciles and events.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, or equivalent work experience required
- Must possess a minimum of 7 years of Human Resources experience ,with increasing levels of responsibility, including support for senior level business
- Labor Relations experience required
- Demonstrated ability to build relationship s at senior levels as well as deeper into the organization
- Must have direct experience leading HR
- 10% travel required
**Certifications/Training**
- PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred
**Licenses**
- Valid driver's license required & motor vehicle record must be in good standing.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in process-based Employee Relations strongly preferred
- Experience in a labor-intensive industry that is highly dependent on employee and team-performance strongly preferred
- Multi-site experience preferred
This role will also receive annual incentive plan bonus.

The Human Resources PMO Manager will support the Federal Human Resources PMO by performing a wide variety of analytical and strategic functions to support special projects and key initiatives, specifically around data analysis, compliance, compensation, process automation, and business process improvement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conduct organizational analysis and contribute to human resources and talent management objectives.

- Collaborate with human resources team on business initiatives and objectives.

- Manage implementation and administration of human resources processes including recruitment selection, onboarding, orientation, performance management, employee relations, individual and leadership development, reward, recognition, compensation and benefits, health and safety, diversity, retention, succession planning, and regulatory compliance.

Job Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- In support of the Human Resources PMO team, participate in the creation and development of HR processes specifically around compliance, auditing, data management, high-level dashboards, compensation analyses, and project management.

- Support Federal Business Development, Proposals, and Pricing teams through market salary surveys, Key Personnel skills research, Contract Vehicle position mapping exercises, and other HR and compliance functions.

- Create and manage processes to ensure the integrity of employee data, including training team members on regular audits and documentation of appropriate quality control measures.

- Lead and participate in on-site and remote audits of programs, to ensure compliance around FLSA and SCA, and provide recommendations and guidance on required changes to reduce compliance risk.

- Support project operations through a variety of functions, including position reviews, job description creation, employee data auditing, new project start-ups, rebadging exercises, and compensation reviews.

- Convert complex data into visually appealing presentation formats to be delivered to audiences at all levels, including dashboard creations, and complete educational and informative presentations.

- Assist the Human Resources function in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all project employees in multiple locations.

- Partner with Project HR leadership and staff to facilitate process improvements, project management, plan creations, and other regularly required functions.

- Maintain current knowledge of employment and labor laws, including, but not limited to, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Service Contract Act (SCA).

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in related field required.

- 5-7 years related professional experience required.

- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
