**Job Purpose**
HR Specialist provides essential support to a company's human resources department by handling a wide range of administrative tasks. This includes managing employee records, assisting with timekeeping, payroll, onboarding and employee status changes, assisting administering benefits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. They also play a crucial role in employee relations, addressing inquiries and concerns, and facilitating communication between employees and the HR department.
**What you will do.**
+ Maintaining Employee Records: Managing and updating employee information in HR databases, including new hires, terminations, and changes to personal details.
+ Maintaining Employe Timekeeping: Assisting Managers with timekeeping, payroll, and requesting final checks
+ Benefits Administration: Assisting with employee benefits enrollment, claims processing, and answering employee inquiries about benefits packages.
+ Compliance: Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
+ Employee Relations: assist w/fact finding to assist w/addressing employee inquiries and concerns, resolving issues, and escalating matters to appropriate HRBP when necessary
+ HRIS Management: Maintaining and updating the company's Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy and system functionality.
+ HR Documentation: Preparing and distributing HR-related documents, such as offer letters, contracts, and performance reviews.
+ Reporting: Generating reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and recruitment statistics.
**Requirements**
+ Degreed preferred or previous Executive Assistant or HR Administration experience
+ Understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
**Skills**
+ Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
+ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees and external partners.
