Reporting to the HR Divisional Manager
As our HR Generalist, you'll be instrumental in supporting our employees and managers, ensuring smooth HR operations, and contributing to a thriving workplace. Your responsibilities will include:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate the full recruitment cycle, including interviewing, reference checks, and comprehensive documentation for new hires. You'll also conduct engaging new hire and benefits orientations to set our new team members up for success.
- Employee Support & Relations: Be the go-to resource for day-to-day HR questions, needs, and inquiries, providing world-class service. You'll help employees navigate benefits, life events, and open enrollment, and actively coach associates and teams to foster career growth and development.
- HR Administration: Take a direct role in payroll processing, attendance and vacation tracking, and leave administration. You'll maintain all hourly personnel files and bridge metric gaps on daily and weekly reports related to attendance, attrition, engagement, and talent needs.
- Policy & Compliance: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring adherence across the organization. You'll also participate in HR investigations, Unemployment Claim Protests, and Hearings.
- Offboarding: Coordinate the exit process for departing employees.
- Continuous Improvement: Always look for ways to enhance HR processes and employee experiences, embodying a spirit of creativity and innovation.

What You'll Bring
- Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR-related experience.
- Preferred: A Degree in Human Resources.
- Preferred: Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred: A strong recruiting background.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; you'll be able to read and interpret various professional documents and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate figures and amounts like percentages and proportions.

As the HR Generalist reporting to the HR Manager at our manufacturing facility, you will support all Human Resources responsibilities. These include onboarding, employee relations, training, payroll, benefits administration, leaves of absence, labor relations, partnering with talent acquisition on recruitment and staffing, and assisting with strategic HR planning programs.
What you'll do in this role:
+ Be an HR partner by providing daily support and guidance across core HR functions at the plant, including leave administration (FMLA, ADA), EEO compliance, unemployment, employee retention, terminations, labor relations, and severance processes.
+ Support smooth HR operations by assisting with payroll and benefits coordination, promoting positive labor and employee relations, leading fair investigations, and implementing employee relations programs that align with legal and company standards.
+ Analyze HR data to identify trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations to plant leadership, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
+ Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture by building professional relationships with employees and leaders, supporting engagement initiatives, and encouraging open communication.
+ Provide coaching support to supervisors and managers, helping them grow their teams and enhance performance.
+ Collaborate with HR colleagues, centers of excellence, and cross-functional teams-including talent acquisition, compensation, and finance-to deliver integrated HR solutions that support business goals.
Position Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related degree

**Compensation:**
Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000
_The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.
