**About the Opportunity:**
A well-established manufacturing company in the Albany area is seeking a motivated **HR Administrative Assistant** to join their team on a 90-day contract. This role provides essential support to the Human Resources department, with a focus on employee relations, onboarding, and daily HR operations in a fast-paced, production-based environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone with prior HR experience who thrives in a hands-on role and enjoys engaging directly with employees across all levels of the organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct candidate screenings and assist with interviews and selection processes
+ Facilitate new hire orientations and onboarding activities
+ Review, verify, and process weekly employee timecards
+ Maintain accurate personnel files and HR documentation
+ Respond to employee questions and HR-related inquiries
+ Support internal communication and employee engagement initiatives
+ Partner with supervisors and HR leadership to ensure smooth daily operations
+ Provide on-site support to warehouse employees one day per week on an early shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
**Qualifications:**
+ 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or HR administration

Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Human Resources Manager reports to the Center Director and is a salaried, exempt position.
- The Human Resources Manager is responsible for administration of Human Resource programs involving compensation; rewards; corporate assessments; policy management and general administration.
- Administers recruitment, screening and hiring program for all center staff.
- Monitors all personnel and employment practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Monitors Center worker’s compensation and OSHA programs.
- The Human Resources Manager develops and implements an effective new hire orientation, staff development and training programs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma is required.
- Three years Human Resources experience required preferred.
- Labor relations experience and supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.

Base Pay Range: $119,000 - $174,350

The HRBP will collaborate closely with HR People Operations and COE leadership to ensure alignment in the implementation of HR policy and process, including:
- Provide HR leadership and coaching through the Performance Management Process annually (performance differentiation/calibration, performance discussion, and merit increase process)
- Facilitate training on key company processes, including performance management, Salary Planning, etc., to ensure leaders, managers, and associates have a solid understanding of them and to drive common practice throughout the company
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to align on a strategy to fill vacancies for the business leader and prepare interview teams. Participate in the interviewing and selection process to facilitate the selection of the best-qualified candidates.
- Partner with COEs regarding how to gain alignment and recommendations on COE-specific expertise
The following are required for the role
- 7+ years of Human Resources experience

Base Pay Range: $119,000 - $174,350. The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable.
