The Human Resources Leader will provide strategic direction and drive organizational excellence across all areas of human resources. This dynamic and adaptable leader will oversee key functions including talent management, compensation and benefits, human resource compliance and people risk management, HR operations and technology, as well as internal communications. As a member of the executive leadership team, the Human Resources Leader will act as a trusted advisor, contributing to long-term planning, organizational development and employee growth while fostering a high-performing, engaged workplace culture. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement human resource strategies that align with overall business objectives, while serving as a key member of the leadership team. Lead organizational change initiatives and drive effective workforce planning to support long-term growth and success.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies while implementing learning and development programs to foster growth. Build succession planning and leadership development pipelines.
- Design competitive compensation structures and benefit packages while benchmarking human resource metrics to optimize cost efficiency. Lead annual performance review and salary adjustment processes.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal processes to mitigate organizational risk. Oversee employee relations, investigations and conflict resolution.
- Optimize operations and technology, including human resource systems and reporting tools. Manage human resource budgets and vendor relationships.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive human resources and leadership experience; working knowledge of the insurance industry (preferred)
- Proven track record in strategic human resources leadership and organizational development
- Proficiency in all sectors of human resources (benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, training and development)
- Strong knowledge of human resources laws and regulations, including human resources best practices and technologies
- Expertise in researching, organizing, and analyzing data to resolve problems and make decisions independently
- Comfortable working in a small company environment
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field; master's degree (preferred)
- Recognized professional HR certification (preferred)

Summary

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent discipline

Must have a proven track record of success and demonstrate confidence and self-motivation
